I recently upgraded my computer, and have been gradually upgrading all my wired devices to use the USB-C ports on the new laptop.I was on assignment to Monterey Car Week for a couple of publications, and ended up taking 586 photos on my trusty Nikon -- then realized I had only the old-school USB connector that I used with my (now retired) desktop computer.It was a matter of seconds to find this USB-C to Nikon cord and order it. It arrived in two days and once I got the box open, the Nikon was happily downloading photos. I was able to finish all four articles I had been assigned well before deadline. Now if only the checks would arrive as quickly as this cable did!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this cable. It is exactly what was pictured and advertised, and almost exactly what I needed. I needed a longer cable, but I missed the part where the advertisement said it was "30 cm" in length. I'm keeping it, it will be useful. It is not the vendor's fault I didn't pay attention to the cable length. It works perfectly with my Nikon D5500 to connect directly to my 2019 MacBook Pro 16". It serves its intended purpose well, and since it's so small yet effective I'll be keeping it in my camera "go-bag" and I'll find a longer one for studio use.

I just got this and I was frustrated at first because my camera kept turning on and off and I was confused but what you have to do once it's connected to your phone slide down to your notifications and it should say your camera type tap on it and get your pics😁

Be aware that it is Just too short. I literally have to put the laptop on top of the camera. The seller should disclose the lenght more visibly like in title.
