The second installment of the bestselling Zodiac series, a breathtaking astrology-inspired sci-fi saga. โRussellโs excellent writing has only gotten better: her descriptions are deep and lush, her heroes fully formed and sympathetic.โโ Booklist โA thematically powerful ride.โโ Kirkus Reviews Orphaned, disgraced, and stripped of her title, Rho is ready to live life quietly as an aid worker in the Cancrian refugee camp on House Capricorn. But news has spread that the Maradโa terrorist group determined to overturn harmony in the Galaxyโcould strike any House at any moment. Then Ochus appears to Rho, bearing a cryptic message that leaves her with no choice but to fight. Now Rho must embark on a high-stakes journey through an all-new set of Houses, where she discovers that thereโs much more to her Galaxyโand to herselfโthan she could have ever imagined. Review: Ghost of yesterday. - I enjoy the fact that Rho was exonerated for the sake of the Cancerian people. The fact that they named her the Wondering Star and let her speak with the counsel, mostly for their own selfish reasons. One thought dead reappearing among the enemy as a captured prize (prisoner) was definitely an interesting twist. It is not the only one in this story. A good read. Review: Cannot wait for the next one - I loved this book and it was one of the best books I've read in a long time. I cannot wait until it comes out and I'm going to start reading it as soon as I can. I like all the imagination put into this series and I'm excited for what's going to happen in Black Moon. I've read a lot of books and series, but I think this is one of my favorite series next to Harry Potter. I loved this book and I'm excited for the next one.

The Adventure Heats Up in This Sequel to Zodiac!
There are a lot of things that I really enjoyed about this book, but two things in particular that I absolutely loved. First, this is a second book in a series that is actually BETTER than the first! So often second books can feel like a stepping stone from one book to the next, but WANDERING STAR definitely has its own very important and very fascinating plot. And second, the villain in this story is UH-MAZ-ING! They are mysterious, completely unpredictable, and their influence has spread throughout the Galaxy, making it impossible to know which characters you can trust and which ones you cannot. Rho is such a fascinating character. She has this tremendous inner-strength, but at the same time she is plagued by these doubts and insecurities that make her read very authentically like an actual young adult. The stakes in this story are literally life and death, and the pacing keeps you on the edge of your seat. The setting is absolutely stunning. I could spend days on Pinterest creating mood boards for these books. I also really love how the strengths of other Zodiac Houses are explored further here. I love that the premise of this series is based around astrology. It's such a fun and creative idea, and I love exploring it through these books.

Shocked!
I loved this book as much as the first and I am still not sure if I trust the Gemini Guardian but I do kind of love her. I will tell you when they revealed that little surprise after Rho's ship got captured killed me a little bit and my husband actually thought something was wrong because it shocked me hardcore...I would definitely recommend this for anyone to read it is SOOOOO good!!! #TeamHysan

HOLY HELIOS!
Romina, you did it again! You've got me hook-line and sinker. I finished this book in less than 2 days, I hate myself for reading it so fast but I couldn't stop! You continue to surprise the readers with each new mystery and slowly revealing them. The introduction of each new world refills my excitement and causes me to keep reading until I get to meet another guardian. It hurts knowing the same feeling I got last year after finishing book 1 and having to accept the fact I have to wait one more year for the next book, but I know it'll be worth wild! Keep on writing Romina! ~Zac (House Capricorn)

I am IN LOVE with this series. You have no idea who the "bad guy" is and I suspect it could be all sorts of different people at any given time. So well written and so fun to read. Easy to keep up with without getting bored. It's been a long time since a book has made me laugh and cry like this one. Absolutely cannot wait to read the next one.

Plot and writing is lukewarm at best.
At best, the story is lukewarm. At worst, it's boring.OK I was expecting more from the sequel. While some parts of the story was exciting and suspenseful, the character is dull. The writing feels sluggish at times, and the science behind their technology seemed laughable. The world building and the concept is great when it comes to all the different planets of the Zodiacs, but the way the author wrote this, it feels like she expects us to know everything about the different Zodiac's cultures, even after she already explained it through the perspective of the main character. Perhaps the fault of this is there are simply too many worlds and characters to keep track of at once. Overall, it was okay, but it's not something I would read again.

The writing is better, the story is solidifying, very promising book.
Much better than the first book, Iโm glad I didnโt give up after finishing the first one and Iโm looking forward to reading the rest of the story.
