I’ve been using this for the past three years as a base for pain and anxiety massage lotions. It is wonderful, and I love it so much more than using standard lotions. First, there’s no water in this product! Second, its formulation means it turns into an opaque lotion as soon as you mix in some essential oils. It’s just thicker, which is especially helpful if you’re trying to, say, rub it into the back of your own neck (in other words, no dripping). And yes it’s moisturizing. The skin on my arthritic 69-year-old knees where I’ve been using this for the past couple years has less wrinkles than the rest of my legs. I’d give this 10 stars if I could!

The best product in quality to use for multiple purposes.

Can't say enough about this product! I use this after shaving my head and face and it leaves my skin soft, nourished, and healthy looking. I particularly use this around my eyes to relieve the puffiness in the morning, and over the last 3 years it seems to have diminished my crows feet. Seriously, people I work with are shocked when I tell them I'm almost 60. I look younger than most of my 40-something colleagues. In addition, there are clinical trials being done that seems to show some correlation between large Basal Skin Carcinoma regression with the introduction of aloe vera. So, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of a cure as the saying goes, and I couldn't agree more.

I've always been one for simplicity, the closer to nature the better for me. Lily of the Desert - Aloe Vera Gel is about as simple as it gets, apart from growing and harvesting your own Aloe Vera plants. I use the Aloe Vera Gel on my face and neck each evening before bedtime after washing with warm water and a cloth. I've been doing this for years and my (+60-year-old) skin has never looked more healthy and radiant. It's also great for blemish-prone skin types with its natural, anti-bacterial properties.I highly recommend this product for the results, and it's super inexpensive to boot. What's not to love?

Nice amount of gel for the price I paid. I had a burn and it went away pretty fast with the gel. Nice texture. I was originally using it for my dry scalp (everyone is different so it might or might not work for you) and while at first it did seem to work it then stopped but I have since fixed my scalp problem. I have used it on my face to and it leaves your face feeling very refreshed and brand new. The absorption time is under 5 minutes for me.

Been using as a hair gel for a long time... like that it has fewer ingredients Also use it if we get a sunburn.
