Warmer Electric Blanket - Body & Feet Dual Heating Zones, 9 Heat Settings, 2 and 10 Hour Timer, Overheating Protection, Polyester - Single Size (160cm x 91cm)

I already have a double electric blanket for the bed, I bought this to go under a throw on my couch!I only bought this last week and see the price has already shot up, I got in at the right time.I wanted a heated blanket with a timer, and also one with more than 3 heat settings which it seemed a lot of them had. This one has 9 and a 2 or 10 hour timer. I don't bother putting my heating on in the living room with the current cost of energy so this will save me money. Sign of the times!Obviously doesn't heat the room up but it heats me up! Sit or lie on the couch and put a blanket over you and you get lovely and warm.Time will tell how long it lasts, but so far very happy.

My old blanket gave out just as the exceptionally cold snowy freezing weather started. I ordered this one and despite being only couple of weeks before christmas, it was delivered within 48hrs! I switched it on to a fairly high number about 1/2hr before bed and slid into bed after said 30 minutes - only to slide rapidly out again and fan the duvet .. it was really hot .. dialled the heat down to nearer the bottom of the scale and slept like the proverbial all night.. really good buy

I was suffering from cold feet and shoulders no matter how much bedding I put on. During the night I would wake up shiverring even when the room temperature was normal. Not wanting to over heat the room, I decided to try an electric under blanket.This electric blanket is a good long size covering both feet and shoulders. It has a separate setting for the feet, so you can set it higher. I set the body to 1 and feet to 5 for 10 hours. After 3 hours I felt quite warm and switched it off. In the morning I was still feeling warm and comfortable.Cons:1. It doesn't attach to the mattress by corner ribbons as described. You have to pass long ribbons under the mattress 3 across and 1 lenghtways. This is not altogethet easy and if you like to turn your mattress regularly, it will be a nuisance.2. It has to be hand washed. You cannot detach the controller and put it in the washing machine. I can't see myself washing this by hand. It's too big. I guess I will have to throw it out and buy a new one after a while.

Never used one before and wanted one with a timer a must have so your not running 24 hours if you forget to switch off. Warms up a cold bed within 10 min and ready to sleep within 20 min. Was large enough to cover a queen size mattress even though was only a king more than did the job, thank you for print service and great product

Reverts to factory setting of temperature every time you turn it off. I wanted to use a separate timer so that I did not have to remember to go upstairs every evening and turn it on but it only accepts the factory settings of 5 which are not warm enough. Have tried to live with it but I may as well use a hot water bottle.

Sent to my 80 year old Mum as part of her Christmas present. She loves it. Easy to put on the bed and easy to use.

Worked well for a little while but unfortunately half of the blanket stopped heating up.

Very effective and hot.With the design, I would have preferred all in one (not split between body and feet) and 1,2,3 on the controls (instead of 55% for each which one then has to alter up each time)Generally, it works, so thank you
