Machine: K-Express EssentialsCups: MUST be closed completely. Having any filter between the lids and bottom makes it to high for the machine no allowing the lid to close.These filters: the "lip" on the filter doesn't flex well, so if you have to fold it in like we do, this design doesn't work well. Takes a bit of work to get the filter edge inside. This takes time for anyone, but for users who can't manipulate well such as OLDER users, it's not a good idea. For this, I'd return them if I could at this point.It does hold the 2 tablespoons and fits our reusable cups inside perfectly.

I have used a couple different brands of filters, but these are the best so far. Easy to separate, fits perfectly in the K cup and holds their shape. Will buy again.

My favorite coffee is the Ronnoco Chocolate Indulgence. It is available in 12oz bags of coffee beans. That's not directly compatible with my Keurig coffee maker. So, I grind the beans and store the ground coffee in an airtight container for the week. Then I use a reusable k-pod, which I fill with the ground coffee. But after using the reusable k-pod, I usually wind up rinsing the pods out in the sink sending coffee grounds into my plumbing. That can cause all kinds of plugs and problems.These k-pod-sized coffee filters solve that problem. They keep the coffee grounds altogether and the whole filter and all the coffee grounds lift out of the reusable k-pod and drop in the trash. Less waste, no coffee grounds down the sink drain, and everything is biodegradable.They are a bit pricey for their size, when compared to standard sized coffee filters, but they work really well and they don't fall apart when making coffee.

These work great but I noticed they don't seem to hold as many grounds as my reusable pods alone because they don't go down to the bottom. All in all they make removing grounds very easy and I like the fact they aren't made of bleached paper.

Great way to save money. I drink black coffee and like a light flavor. It's just so easy to adjust the amount of coffee to put in the reusable k cup.
