Muuwmi Aluminium Scooter Deluxe - Kick scooter, 205

I bought the scooter for my son last week and can’t fault it at all. It arrived within a day, the packaging looked great and the manual included everything we needed to get going. The scooter is sturdy and made to a high quality - my son loves it! Can definitely recommend

I’ll come back to that.The Muuwmi Aluminium Scooter Deluxe is one of several available brands of this type. The product description on Amazon describes it as low-priced, but I disagree. However, that’s not a criticism. The scooter is in the upper quartile of pricing for similar products, but there’s a reason for that; in fact, there are many.From opening the box to having a fully operational scooter took less than 30 seconds, and the immediate impression is one of quality. From the aluminium deck to the frame welding (see pic) there is the comforting feeling of having a high-end product below you. The deck itself is wide and covered with a tough high-grip finish, in fact the overall finish of the scooter is very impressive from the epoxy painted main frame to the anodised aluminium handlebars and locking sleeve. The handlebar assembly is adjustable for height and has a double locking mechanism: a push button stem and a cantilever lock (see pic). The frame locking sleeve is so simple yet so robust. Just give it a pull and everything clicks together. The wheels are superb - 205mm with a full-service capability via authentic-sports.de. You can just change the bearings or the wheels or both, and tools are supplied to facilitate this.A number of competing models offer things like coil-over suspension with front and rear disc-brakes. Seriously? It’s a scooter, designed to be ridden on tarmac. Remember what Mr. Chapman said: “add lightness”. Who needs all of that additional weight on a scooter? The Muuwmi Aluminium Scooter Deluxe folds down quickly and is easy to carry, it’s easy to push and easy stop with the simple rear brake all because it’s light. But it’s also very strong.If you are looking for a scooter for adults or kids, then I can thoroughly recommend this. You will still be scooting along on the Muuwmi when other cheaper brands are consigned to the dump.

We already have a Muuwmi scooter that is probably the next one down to this and I have to say even though I love the look of the other one this one looks even better, like the other one this folds really easy in fact easier where as one you have to flip a quick release and pull a inset button on that this one you just grip that big collar and pull it and it folds, the bars same as the other one disconnect by pushing in the metal buttons and then clip to the steerer tube so this is very transportable.It has the normal rear foot operated brake a kick stand a nice grippy foot plate and really comfortable grips, of course not the type of scooter for the skate park but with the bigger wheels more a street cruiser.Negatives? well the same as the other one I think let down by the way those bars are fitted with just metal push buttons, the bars wobble a bit and don't to me feel very good because of that, again I don't think there will be a problem with them coming off but just that bit of movement I don't like.

Excellent quality folding aluminium scooter with good grip on the foot plate. The handle bars fit easily into place with push button hole locking, which does give some play in the handles but it’s not really noticeable with gloves on. The slider folding mechanism makes for quick and easy folding and the kick stand is easy to operate. My husband found the foot plate has great grip and is a good size. He also found it easy to adjust the height to his preference. The wheels have safety reflectors for clear visibility, which my husband finds useful in the evening. My husband can attest to the effectiveness of the brakes as this does move quite fast and he needs to use it often!I originally ordered this for my eldest great nephew but my husband decided to keep it after taking it for a test ride. He is the main carer for his father which means he’s walking between homes every day, this is practical and he finds it stress relieving. He did say it’s better on less bumpy surfaces but he’s altered his route to combat that. Due to the speed he would recommend it for older children and adults.

This is a great scooter for adults/older children. Superb for commuting or just trying to keep up with the kids in the park. Out of the box, it is a doddle to set up and has a great quality feel. The colour is “totes gawj” as they say in sunny Essex and the aluminium construction means it is lighter than it looks also. The wheels are slightly stiff to start with but loosen up nicely and the grippy footplate is plenty big enough for my size 10s. The large wheels add stability and have a cool matching design. Absolutely lovely handgrips too. Can’t fault this scooter, it looks great and is lovely to ride all at a very competitive price.

Bucking the trend of e-scooters which are everywhere now, this is a lovely old-fashioned, foot-powered scooter of the very highest quality. Really attractive design, eye-catching and extremely well made. The main column folds down when not in use, and folds back up for use, with a satisfying click, so you know it's locked into place. Ready to use straight out the box. There is a brake on the back wheel - takes a bit of getting used to but overall this is a great scooter. Worth the price, top quality stuff.

Easy enough to fold/unfold once one has looked over the multilingual but well-illustrated instructions, this is an impressively well-made and readily adjustable kick-scooter; it is a pretty sturdy item with decent sized wheels, an effective rear foot-brake and a folding stand on the underside.It's a good looking thing too.Eminently portable and just big enough not to be too heavy or bulky, it's suitable for adults and older children – I'm very pleased with it and it's an impressive scooter for the price.

Ein super Scooter!Habe für meine Enkelkinder erst einen günstigen von Hudora bestellt, der auch gleich wieder zurück ging... Nachher diesen bestellt und war von dem Unterschied überrascht. Positiv:- Breiter Lenker, viel sichereres fahren.- 5x Höhenverstellungen, auch für große erwachsene geeignet.- Vollgummi Reifen, sehr leicht häufig.- einfacher und stabiler Einklappmechanismus, auch Kinder kommen damit klar.- Feste Gummi Griffe anstelle von Schaumstoff bei anderen Modellen. Sehr angenehm, griffig und langlebig.- stabile Konstruktion, sind schon zur zweit gefahren.Es stimmt einfach alles. Top Scooter!!!

Für unseren 8jährigen Sohn perfekt.Super schnell zusammengebaut.Und los ging es direkt.Ein Schulterriemen wäre noch wünschenswert, damit man diesen besser in der Bahn zB tragen kann.Ansonsten denke ich, ist ein sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.

Der Scooter kann einfach und schnell zusammengebaut und auch wieder zusammengeklappt werden. Für Kinder, wie Erwachsene ein toller Freizeitspaß. Farbe topp

Der Roller kam in einer zerrissenen Packung an. Gut, dafür kann der Hersteller nichts. Als Ich den Roller aufklappte, kam mir erstmal eine Schraube entgegen. Als ich sie versuchte in ihre Gewinde zu Schrauben ging es nicht. Gewinde war kaputt.Der Roller selber war verkratzt.Der Ständer macht keinen Sinn, da der Roller trotz Ständer umkippt. Der Aufkleber für das Trittbrett war schief und überstehend aufgeklebt.Produkt direkt wieder zurück gesendet. Die zwei Sterne gibt es für die Robustheit des Rollers.
