Limited Ingredient Adult Wet Canned Dog Food with Healthy Grains, Lamb & Brown Rice Recipe, 13 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I started buying this food for my dogs at least a year ago, when one of them (a 7 pound Shih-tzu) was diagnosed with pancreatitis, and our veterinarian put her on a prescription diet. I'm not big on paying a lot of $$ for a little can of food, so I looked for alternatives. We mix this with Blue Buffalo dry dog food, the lowest fat recipe they make, and our little dog hasn't had any problems since! She likes it, and I'm happy knowing that I'm feeding her good food. :-) Our other dog (12 pound Lhasa) loves it, too, though we mix hers with a Blue Buffalo senior mix. We've also tried the Duck & Potato L.I.D. At first, both dogs loved it, but now they seem to prefer the Lamb & Rice L.I.D. We're going to try out some of the other L.I.D. flavors, so they'll have some variety!

I was on vacation when this case of dog food arrived. Our dogsitter didn't mention the condition of the cans only that the dog food arrived. I am back and every can is dented, some beyond opening with a can opener. I have managed to get a can open by other means but this is ridiculous. How did anyone allow this product to leave the warehouse. Before you say it was the delivery company understand that the box it was delivered in was not damaged. Also understand that the dog food normally arrives in a case wrapped in plastic this time it did not. It looks as if you are down to just a few cans and needed to fill the order and did not care about the condition of the product. I signed up for the Subscribe and Save b ut it is looking more like Subscribe and Pay.

This dog food is one a very select few which my Pit Bull's finicky stomach can tolerate. That being said, we have to toss one or two cans per 12 pack because of dents and dings on the cans. I don't know where how this damage is occurring but maybe the packaging could be improved. Overall, this is a great product with great ingredients but the fact that I have to throw out cans makes the cost a bit higher than advertised.

Thank you for making an affordable dog food with no chicken or salmon. My dog is allergic to both chicken and salmon and it is almost impossible to find food that doesn’t include at least one of those two things.

My dogs have allergies so I need dog food with limited ingredients. I have gone though quite a few different brands, and they always eat this one up. When they don't like food, they will leave it set all day without eating it, but I never had a problem with this one. Note: Amazon's last shipment was incorrect, they sent me the regular lamb, not the limited ingredients. I thought I would give it a try since it's too difficult to return an entire case of food. My dogs hated it! Would not eat it at all. FYI.

I pay for LID for my pet. If humans are being warned not to eat carrageenan, then let's not take chances by adding thickeners that are controversial to our pet's diet. Maybe this excerpt taken from recent organic study, will help explain my position: carrageenan is a common food additive that is extracted from a red seaweed, Chondrus crispus, which is popularly known as Irish moss. Carrageenan, which has no nutritional value, has been used as a thickener and emulsifier to improve the texture of ice cream, yogurt, cottage cheese, soy milk, and other processed foods. Some animal studies have linked degraded forms of carrageenan (the type not used in food) to ulcerations and cancers of the gastrointestinal tract. More worrisome, undegraded carrageenan - the type that is widely used in foods – has been associated with malignancies and other stomach problems. In 2012, Joanne K. Tobacman, MD, who has published multiple peer-reviewed studies that address the biological effects of carrageenan, addressed the National Organic Standards Board on this issue and urged reconsideration of the use of carrageenan in organic foods. According to Dr. Tobacman, her research has shown that exposure to carrageenan causes inflammation and that when we consume processed foods containing it, we ingest enough to cause inflammation in our bodies. That’s a problem since chronic inflammation is a root cause of many serious diseases including heart disease, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, and cancer.

Love our Natural Balance L.I.D. foods. My dog has 18 different allergies and a sensitive stomach. We searched high and low to find a food that was nutritious and had no chicken by products plus lacked the multitude of other items he is allergic to, i.e. oats, peas, venison, ect. We found the Limited Ingredient Dog food from Natural Balance and have not looked back. Rummy is doing great and loves his food.

The dogs love it! They can't get enough and always gets very excited when they know it's time to eat. The meat and rice seems good quality to me and is not yucky like other wet dog food.

Our dogs loved this supplement to their dry food.

I love being able to save some money on my canned dog food by purchasing it in cases, you usually save a few bucks doing so. Even better is free 2 day delivery! I feed my boxer Nubz the same dry food and a rotation of different canned to ensure he's getting the different vitamins in different types. NB is one of my regular foods, Nubz loves it.
