Got these to tackle some surface rust under a car. I already had a pair of cheapo brushes (one brass, one steel - you've probably seen those with the crimped top edge). Used the brush with the scraper and my old brush (as well as some brushes on a drill at times). It was good to have this brush and my old one. The old one get's into narrow nooks and crannies (and I'd still buy more of those for that reason), but this one is more substantial and faster when covering an open area.The surface rust (and old paint) was actually very loose and easy to remove mostly. The scraper was great to have as I could remove quite a lot with that also without having to root around for another tool (handy when stuck under a car on jack stands!)Not used the bigger one yet although I can see that being useful if you need to give something some welly and it's a bit more accessible than under a car.Depending on how you look at it, I'd suggest these are a bit expensive for what they are and compared to alternatives you can find at a local click and collect DIY counter. But within the cost of the overall job and for the convenience, they made sense this time round.
