Raumfeld One M Streaming Wireless Speaker (White)

Great looking, great sounding single speaker system. This obviously won't replace a two speaker system which will inherently have better stereo imaging, but sound is impressively crisp and defined. I think it sounds materially better than the Play 5 which IMOP produces pretty muddy and uninspired sound. Some other reviewers have complained about the App, but personally, I haven't had any trouble with it. Using Spotify through chromecast works flawlessly. I've also used TuneIn radio, and I think the integration with the app is really good. You can also use the preset buttons on the front of the speaker to automatically queue up playlists or radio stations without going into your phone to load them -- this is a pretty brilliant feature. Very pleased so far and thinking very seriously about adding other Raumfeld devices to our home.

The sound quality is reasonable for what it is, though not appreciably better than less expensive options. There are a few big annoyances, and one big reason it gets one start: there's a loud turn-on pop, and the rotary volume dial has no indication of volume level--so while you're waiting for it to connect (which is often) the sudden massively loud turn-on is a bit disconcerting.The bigger issue is that 1) Spotify is the only app I can get to work, which is pretty limiting. Tune-in simply won't connect. It's nothing but a spiraling orange symbol. Reinstalling repeatedly didn't solve the issue. 2) there's no way to get any support in the US, at least that I can find on their website. Hopefully someone from the company will respond here, but for now it's a pretty expensive paperweight. Turns out, having someone who can answer a question when things go wrong is pretty key.

I've only had it for a few hours and I'm so excited I had to write something. The sound is awesome, setup couldn't be easier. Will write more when I have some more time with it.Now ive had it for more than a month, the sound is even better now than when purchased. The ease of use is amazing. I have a usb external drive attached to it with over 20.000 songs and it plays them effortlessly, it even picked up my playlists. The playlists aspect of it is kind of complex and havent figured it out completely yet. Most of the instructions and forums are in german.The only bad thing i have found is that you cannot program spotify playlists on the presets. This was one of the selling points on my case, but reading everything i could find i might have misunderstood the information. If anybody could explain this i would greatly appreciate it.Nonetheless i keep my 5 star review because what it does it does very well and then some.

While one of these hard hitting big base speakers would have been plenty for the space I wanted to try these out in. I thought I would buy two to balance out the sound in the room which is a large great room 35' long x 12 to 40'wide with a 25 ' ceiling and a loft. Even at low volumes these things fill the room with crisp sound. They are easily heard in all rooms of the house beyond the great room. The app is easy to use and setting up you own channels and play lists is a really cool feature. Weather all you do is stream or you have a huge MP3 library these are the way to go. More than enough UMF to be considered a home stereo. It is truly amazing how loud these systems can get without loosing the sharpness of the highs and mids. The bass travels, is tight and responsive. There is no rattle, rasp, chatter or clipping coming from the construction or electronics as far as I have pushed this system. The EQ built into the app can get you dialed in to the sounds that you enjoy. If you want more bass it is definitely there. If you want loud sharp highs it is there. All the range you could ask for. I also purchased a pair of One S speakers it is really cool to control all the different rooms in the house from one mobile location. Customer service is extremely friendly and accommodating. Customer for life here.

So far a wireless speakers go This unit offers a great sound and wonderful build quality. But, and this is a big but its digital connectivity is not great. The app is OK, it does need work however it is missing a large number of streaming options. From an aural perspective let the speaker settle work different volume levels and music types and after 20 or so hours the depth of its quality comes through. The louder the volume and more room filling the music the better the detail shines. It does background well, not perfectly, but for something to fill a room and lose yourself in this ranks highly. Packages well, simple setup and easy to control....yet the app could be so much smarter and I know they are working on music streaming apps, buy why not have these agreements in place before launching in the USA? The competition have this area covered, this no 5 stars.

I really enjoyed listening to this speaker right out of the box. You can equalize it with the Raumfeld app but I actually just keep it to it’s factory setting. It came with a a nice balanced sound, very smooth and rich. For a single stand alone unit, I was pleasantly surprised how wide stereo field sounded. The design is angled out so it sounds amazing any where in the room and it sounds great regardless if you have it on low or high volume. When I have it really loud, I like how the sound stays clean and clear. I don’t hear any clipping or distortion. I also appreciate how they put a subwoofer on the bottom of the unit. It gives a nice deep bass to the music I listen to, without it being muddy.I also bought the Raumfeld One S and they pair really great together. I have the One M in the living room and One S in the kitchen. The music syncs up wireless to both speakers perfectly with no delay. I love how simple it is to have the same music playing throughout the house. I’m very proud to show it off. It looks beautifully well designed and the build quality is solid. It has a simple minimalistic look that fits in great in my living room. The One M sounds amazing as it looks, I would highly recommend it.
