Stinger 2020 is better with two separate switches; Lo-Med-Hi switch, battery life and overall shape-- does not roll. However as used by this Plumber, my old Stinger SL-75713 LED of 2009 appears to be as good or better to look down long pipes and drain stacks. I liked the way the old beam is MORE FOCUSED and BRIGHTER IN THE CENTER 6" like a laser beam down drain stacks 20+ feet. So I am getting my old Stinger SL-75713 LED repaired under warranty (I pay shipping) since it will be a good back up for the new Stinger 2020. Cell phone photos are a little deceiving with auto focus lighting... Stinger 2020 wins because more hours use on one charge.

I purchased a open box one and had problems with missing pices, however I purchased a new one and it's amazing, I got it wet and damaged the reflector (my fault deeper water then it said it can go in and didn't see water was in it for a week) so i dried it out recharged it and it worked except the reflector was messed up/ dull from water damage. Called Streamlight (the manufacturer) and asking to BUY a replacement part and they sent me out a replacement part at no charge .It is a comercial flashlight, so yes it is not cheap, but it is serviceable and built to last. And even after sitting full of water it never left me in the dark.

My tools are very important to me.I have carried a stream light since 2016 and love it, not just for the light but for having a backup tool for defense when needed.When i saw they updated the Lumen's I was excited. After several attempts of purchasing one from a reputable store like LA POLICE GEAR and receiving a "sold out" response I broke down and bought one from Amazon.Big mistake to buy life saving equipment from Amazon!!I read other reviews of this company sending used lights and blew it off. Well I'm here to tell you it happened to me.The light is beautiful with an updated design and grip.The texturing on the handle makes it non slipping which again is important for having a life saving tool on your belt.I was not impressed with the light output but as other reviewers stated they bought better batteries off site of Amazon. I bought 3700 MAH 8AMPS from battery junction.The light is very sturdy and well made it feels and looks like my Glock very nice.Here's the major problem!It's the seller. I read other reviews that have stated the same, I am not sure what they are doing; if they are buying used lights and refurbishing them or out right buying refurbished lights selling them as brand new lights.What ever they are doing it is unethical selling a light as a brand new unit then receiving a previously opened box, the light not having any plastic wrapping on it. Finger prints on the glass, bezel, body.2 scrape marks on the body from being used.As I said the light it self is amazing the company is definitely deceptively Deceitful!!Buy somewhere else!!
