Fit and worked perfectly.
Glad I noticed that there is a different ring for 4" Schedule 40 and 4" Sewer pipe. I was using Sewer Pipe and this worked like a dream. They have been in for a month so far with no leaks.

Impossible to use without an adapter
I purchased this to create a seal for a 4" PVC pipe. Unfortunately, this is the exact same size as the 4" PVC pipe. The only 4" PVC that will fit inside this is a "street coupling" (spigot x spigot) which costs an extra $20 pushing the total cost to use this up to $40ish with shipping costs since I couldn't find that kind of connection in stores.Alternatively, I found that I can use a 4" to 3" adapter (not PVC though. it's the thinner storm water pipes) and that the 3" side will fit inside this while the 4" side will fit inside a 4" PVC pipe, but the fit isn't as snug as I would like and creates a bottleneck where pressure would build.A brushing that is spigot x slip might also work, but those tend to be reducing so I'd have to have increased the size of the pipe than reduced it again with multiple fittings at a higher cost. It's still cheaper than a 4" bulkhead fitting, so that is the only reason why I didn't deduct more stars. Still, something designed to fit a 4" PVC pipe should clearly say that it doesn't.I will update this review with pictures of how it connects with the fittings once I get them in.

Exceeded expectations!
At first I thought they might be a little too heavy for my 55 gal food grade barrel. I cut the 5" holes recommended and used some Vaseline to get the pipe through. It wasn't exactly easy, but I'd say the connection may even be completely water tight! Perfectly solid fit for SDR-35 (thinner storm drainage pipe, not heavy sewer pipe), and I am very happy this product is offered.Again make sure you have the correct pipe type since both PVC pipe grade gaskets are available. The gaskets are very different and not interchangeable.

Absolutely Perfect
I used this on an inlet pipe to a 1500 gallon rainwater harvesting tank. This fits 4 " SDR pipe ( the thin wall pipe) Used a 5" holesaw and the pipe fit nice and tight into the tank.

Excellent!
I bought to use on 4" PVC Sch 40 I bought at HD. It is very difficult to get over the outside of the pipe since the walls are so thick. It takes two people and two screwdrivers but it is doable. I guess you want it tight anyhow for a nice tight seal. Worked great! Outside dimension of seal is 6 inches which was very beneficial when I bored a 6" hole in my concrete floor. I used this uniseal to seal the bottom of the hole for a radon removal system install. The seal prevented concrete from falling down the hole. Excellent!
