Last two cds were outstanding, not sure about this one .

This was a present for my son as a surprise he loved it

Realmente no conozco ninguna de las versiones originales (salvo These Days) pero al escucharlas en su voz y en su interpretación, me da la impresión de que fueran originales suyas. Y todas son fascinantes.

Another LP of Cat Power covers, yes please and thank you. Cats covers are always a Pandora's box of unexpected surprises. Indiscriminate song choice make for some unlikely track listing but the most unlikely are the most successful. Cat Power transforms the song into something new and yet honors the source. A perfect example is the pairing of the last 2 tracks, the Replacements 'Here comes a regular' with closer Billie Holidays 'I'll be seeing you', so devastatingly beautiful I am already wearing out the grooves. Thank you.
