Excellent product. Much better than the cheap ones with batteries. It keeps on going. I used it on the wool area rug, it did a good job. The area rug looks new. Also used it on cashmere sweater. It is safe to use on rough material like a wool rug and more delicate like a soft cashmere sweater. It is also much faster than the battery operated ones. I recommended it to my mom and SIL.

I picked it up today and plugged it in the minute I got home, completely de-pilled two sweaters out of the gate :) One was a cotton cable knit and the other a recycled yarn, button down from Old Navy. They came out beautifully and looked practically new again. I love that it's a completely electric. No batteries, no recharging like others out there. I used a light touch, sweeping motions and the low speed and that's all. I had to empty the collection bin a number of times and also twisted off the cover and removed the blade and using the little brush that was included, I was able to carefully (note these are sharp blades) remove the built up lint. The blade needs to be gently turned and pushed down to click back into place before screwing the cover back on. I love this shaver, 5 stars, highly recommend :)

Amazing!! Needed to remove lint and pilling from an entire couch, this shaver does not disappoint! It’s a real power tool! I highly recommend it! You will not be disappointed, especially with a large project like furniture.

Pionix Extra Power Fabric Shaver is truly impressive and a must have for sweater lovers I was frustrated using the battery operating hand held shaver, just not enough power, still had those fuzzies and went thru a ton of batteries. Went on Amazon, read the descriptions/reviews and then googled the best rated device that was available, and the Pionix kept popping up. Well, ok let's try it. I noticed the yellow was less expensive than the black color (by $6) which is ridiculous for the exact same device. I put the shaver to the test on my oldest Irish Aran sweater, thinking if it was destroyed I wouldn't be as upset as it gave my years of warmth. Two speeds, 4 very sharp blades under a protective screen so not to cut my fingers off, holding my breath as I gently ran the device over the sweater sleeve. One to two swipes over the pills and I was so shocked to see what looked like brand new wool yarn and it was soft! By the time I was done, I had a large soft pile of yarn pills I could have made a pillow! Looking over the sweater, the razors did not cut the yarn stitches and my sweater looked brand new. My sweater was exfoliated! Needless to say, I ran upstairs, yanked open the closet and out came all of my sweaters, hats, scarves, knitted or crocheted. My kids dived under their beds as they saw all of the garments flying out of my closet. Cleaning the device is easy, just be careful when handling the blades as the rotary head does have a certain way of laying in its tray. I wore the sweater the other day and while standing in the department store, someone admired it, asking how I took such great care of my sweaters as she battles with wool pills and high dry cleaning bills. Smiling, I told her about this device....

I couldn’t be happier with this product! After spending my whole weekend shaving the fuzzies off a bunch of new sweatshirts and sweatpants I got this couldn’t be more satisfying! If you’re considering going with one that is corded versus cordless I would 100% go with this one. The power this thing has is nuts! It removes lint like no tomorrow! Super easy to use and no racing to beat the battery dying anymore. I’ve also used it on plush bath towels, and I was worried about how it would fair with the fabric, but it didn’t cause any fabric damage. A+!

I’ve tried several fabric shavers, and this one blows the rest away. Fast, efficient, two settings, and easily my favorite — solid purchase.

I want to edit this review, as I spoke with customer support and they agreed to send me replacements blades and mesh covers, I am hoping these will last me longer and that the covers and blades I had were a one time kinda issue. I shaved about 12 sweaters and both blades are already blunt, and the blades mesh cover literally fell apart, both of them, which ended up damaging my sweater. This is the most expensive sweater shaver on Amazon, I was expecting better quality than this. Now after only using this a for 12 sweaters I have to spend another $13 on mesh covers & $15 on new blades? I've had many shavers in the past, and while the blades always get blunt eventually, I never had to replace the mesh cover, let alone 2. The mesh covers fall apart extremely fast, and costs $13 to replace them. The shaver itself is good, however, you'll end up having to replace the blades and mesh covers so fast, it will become very expensive

The Pionex is a good shaver. I purchased the SHAVER in July 2023 which mechanism wise is powerful. However, the downside is those screens that I have replaced twice already that cost $15.00 for a set of two. They are made of very thin tin. The middle circle always falls out easily. At this point, it doesn’t pay for me to keep having to replace those screens so I have found a similar Shaver at Joanne’s. I wouldn’t recommend this product especially since I paid $50.00. So having to replace the screens twice already I am at $80.00, the worse part is that it isn’t used frequently.

The price was putting me off so I kept researching cheaper fabric shavers but in the end, based on reviews, I purchased with fingers crossed. I cannot emphasize enough just how well it works! I have a large, L shaped couch that my cats have used as a scratching post for 2 years and it looks practically brand new; even tiny little threads were taken care of. I found that using a combination of patters is helpful...straight up and down, side to side, large circles, small circles, etc. It was therapeutic and fed my OCD bringing the couch come back to life, lol. You will not regret buying this product!
