I ordered this hat, size 4-8, for my 7 year old grandson. It is way too big; however, he is small for his age. Unless your child has a large head, I would consider sizing down for this age when ordering. He loves the camouflage hat, so I immediately ordered the smallest size. I like the fabric-it is a lightweight material and has a wide floppy brim to protect his face from the sun’s rays. I also like the adjustable string to secure the hat under the chin.

Super cute hats, my boys love them and use them in the pool and have no problems with them. Keeps the sun out of their eyes.
