Quality brand
I searched for awhile before settling on this bunk. We had purchased a different bunk from this brand before (for our younger girls-the cabin bunk with roof) and were blown away by the quality of the wood and finish, so we felt pretty confident ordering this bunk(for our older girls). It was super easy to put together, nothing crazy. I really enjoyed the fact that it can be left as two separate beds, which we will be utilizing in the future. The ladder is space saving, as it ends right at the edge of the lower bunk, and doesn’t take up extra floor space—a great design. There is plenty of head space for the bottom bunk. Overall we are extremely pleased with the look and the functionality.

Super cute and sturdy!
I will say, it's not that easy to install, and there were some injuries, but it looks great! The girls love it, and I like how it splits into 2 beds or can stay as bunkbeds. Very stylish, and great value!

A Great Buy
This is very good for what it is. It is a flatpack bed, so the wood is soft and the instructions questionable, but if you understand that going in, it is great. Assembly is greatly benefited by a helper. My only true complaint is that it is stinky. Three days in and the off gassing is still going. Keep the room aired out for a while and your kids will be grateful.

Sturdy bed
I have co-slept with all my children. Circumstances have made it difficult for my two youngest to transition to sleeping by themselves. I decided to try a bunk to help with the process. So far, so good! I reviewed SO MANY BEDS! I checked local stores and only one had anything that would work for us that wouldn't break the bank for me. It happened to be the same design like this one, but it was $100 more.I assembled most of this bed alone. It took me several hours and my thumbs and fingers were fairly sore, but I did it. Everything fit perfectly. The only part I asked for help with was putting the top on. I ended up using my drill (very carefully and SLOWly) because there are an insane amount of screws. All needed to help keep it sturdy, but my hands and wrists would not take it.The last thing is that I am not a small person and I have a heavy mattress for the bottom. I have had ZERO problems with the bed AND there is still room for me to turn over comfortably. I can't sit up under the top bunk though. I am positive that is because of the thickness of my mattress. This is an excellent bed that I am looking forward to having for years! Thank you!

Disappointed
Disappointed. As I unpackaged and put together this bed I became increasingly disappointed. After I saw a few chipped/scratched pieces on the main outer frame I continued to assemble the bed thinking a few minor issues would be fine. The more I did however, the more I noticed problems and frustrated I became.First off, several pieces had been “fixed” with what I can only compare to white-out, as the color of the “paint” was over dented/scratched areas and was a brighter white (as well as a different texture) to the bed finish.Second, several pieces of the slats for the top bunk appeared to be wet and completely soft the whole way through, I ended up replacing those by making slats myself.Third, the support bracket pieces for the bottom bunk were a joke, they barely touched the ground when installed.Fourth, I was given 2 incorrect pieces. Multiples of one side of the headboard rail, which required me to create my own holes.Fifth, 2 of the wholes on one of the side rails were only half drilled, which was completely annoying to fix.Overall, I’m really unhappy with the bed and all the damage. For the record though, I’m not sure why so many reviewers mentioned the directions being hard to understand. If you have any experience putting together furniture you should be fine, I found it exceptionally easy.

It's ok.
The bed is nice but there is a place where the wood slats on the headboard was broken.

The very first time putting this together was lengthy I will admit. That said this bedframe is incredibly sturdy and durable. I've slept on the lower bunk occasionally and not once have I felt like I was going to break it due to poor design. Taking it apart and moving it to a new location was simple as long as you remember to take pictures of which screws go where, after that super straight forward since most of the screws are the same size. One small thing I wish they would do differently with the design is to reinforce the top bunks slats with a centerbeam just like the lower bunk, just for piece of mind
