Perfect dark chocolate
Good dark chocolate! The 86% was too dark for my liking but this is good! Still an intense dark chocolate flavor but still sweet.

72% dark chocolate which can be broken down into their squares to keep me from overindulging my love of dark chocolate. Ghirardelli is the best I have tasted and the price at Amazon beats out my previous store.

Perfect intensity, not too oily
Not much to say. Perfect intensity, perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness, smooth but not too oily, and it lasts me several days if I pace myself right.

Great quality chocolate
Buying this as a source of magnesium. This definitely not a candy bar as it is not sweet. Not overly bitter like the 86% bar. Bought both to try to get a natural form of magnesium in my diet. Good for circulation, blood pressure and muscles. This high quality dark chocolate that has not been over processed which would destroy the health benefits. This is one of only two brands that are readily available in the US that doctors recommended for health benefits.

Lowest lead and cadmium per Consumer Reports, great price on Amazon
Some lead and cadmium are unavoidable in dark chocolate, but according to a Consumer Reports study (available online without a paywall) this product was one of the few safe choices on the market, which are well below California's maximum allowable dose level (MADL)- see also the Harvard Health website article The Amazon price is a very good value, especially for Subscribe and Save.
