Living in this Canadian climate, my hands seem to be cold about 8-9 months out of the year. Working on a computer all day I find my right hand that operates the mouse is especially cold. I hesitated ordering this because I didn't want to spend my money on something for work. I finally just went for it and wow, I am NOT disappointed. This mouse is the cat's ass, the bees knees, and quite possibly the best thing since sliced bread. The morning I brought it to work, it was the talk of the office. I was - at least for that day - one of the cools kids.As other reviewers have said, the low setting is usually enough but I do sometimes put it on high for short periods of time. It turns off automatically when the computer powers down so no need to turn the switch off. The cord is nice and long too (about 5 feet). I've only had this about a week so we'll see how it holds up over time. I ordered mine on January 4th and it was delivered on the 10th. Import fees for me in Canada were just over $8 on top of the price listed here.

Having a warming mouse is very a nice idea.There's three modes, off, low and high. Usually the low settings is more than enough to keep your hands warm. The high setting is very very hot. Might be useful to some people I believe, but not for me.Now let's search for a warming keyboard! :-D

Omg...for the first time ever my hand is warm when working on the computer all day. The two heat settings are great. I usually have it on the lowest. I will turn it up when the office is quite cold. I have now bought 2 more for my friends. Love this!

I have problems with very cold hands, and this mouse works great. I can only stand to have it on 'low' - high is too hot (and I generally never find hand warmers "too hot"Wonderful product. (Works well as a mouse too)

I chronically have cold hands and have had to wear a little glove on my mouse hand so this product is a game changer!!! Love it. Arrived earlier than eta, safe and sound. Very happy.
