Very comfortable and very easy to use.

I’ve bought every squeezey ball, putty, therapy block, splint, and heating/massaging tool on Amazon to help with my hand, left paralyzed by a stroke 3 years ago, and none of it did a damn thing. I was plenty dubious of this glove but the thought of my hand opening and closing by itself was too tempting to resist. I paid $300 back in February of 2022 and still think it’s worth every penny. I can’t put the thing on by myself, which is a small drawback (but neither have I tried and failed more than 3 times. It’s possible I could learn to, but I always wait till someone is around because it’s so much easier), but it’s truly a revelation. With the glove on, my balled up hand opens and closes and stretches out my fingers in such a miraculous way. This glove has helped enormously. Whatever discomfort my hand is experiencing goes away immediately, and I am left with a softer, less spastic grip. It hasn’t cured my hand’s function (are there any cures in stroke recovery? I haven’t found any!), but the fingers flutter and move and have more life in them than they have since the stroke, which of course inspires me to do more hand therapy, never my favorite, even though I do 18-20 hours of other therapy per week. Even my therapist, one of the best in Los Angeles, is super impressed by it and has recommended it to all her other stroke and TBI patients. For anyone with hand spasticity, I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you to the makers of this product for easing my pain and helping me get my hand back! Because I will, no matter how long it takes! Now that the price is $114 less, I’m buying a back-up to have in case it ever breaks. It’s now a required part of my recovery.

I only tried the unit out on "automatic" which goes back and forth between hand open and closed. That part worked just fine. Unfortunately, as I thought, the glove dimensions seem more suited for women and small men. I'm below average height for an American with somewhat meaty hands. I never have a problem with gloves, I'm usually a large. So I am sending the unit back. Their shipping was only a few days to Oregon, so that was great deal. I hate to have to send it back.Edit: I contacted the seller and they're sending me an XXL at no extra charge. They were most helpful, very responsive, and in fact contacted me to see if they could help when I started the return process to see if they could help me. I will further update when I've used the larger glove. DO go by their hand sizing measurements, they are accurate and if you need a larger size, ask before you order.'

We love this machine. My husband has brain cancer is on hospice given 6 months to live. We got this machine and it works perfectly it has helped him with pain, control of his hand and so much more.

Too expensive to not work two months later. Junk
