The best one of my three laptop cooling pads!
Design, airflow, and having complete control of the fan motor speed with a dial sets this one apart from the rest. It seems that the foam-rubber insert could have been implemented via better engineering analysis, but this cooling pad is the best one I have now. Worth the price, the lights are highly customizable. One irony is that when the RGB is on, the edges of the pad get warm. Negligible from a macroscopic perspective. Its multiple height adjustment is great. Oh, and being powered by a separate power adapter (included) at first seemed like a drawback, considering I have so many things plugged in, but it's actually an enhancement in that you don't have to plug it into a USB port for power. If you're undecided, or hesitant like I was at first, I definitely recommend this cooling pad.

A beastly cooler.
I watched tons of video reviews and comparisons of laptop coolers before deciding on this particular one. I have a ROG Strix G16, and when pushing my GFX card to the max, I haven't seen the temp climb above 46C with my laptop on this pad. I run it on the max speed when gaming, since the ANC of my earbuds cancel out all of the noise, but I'm pretty sure what I'm doing is overkill. I just rather he laptop cooler do as much work as possible so that my computer does not have to, and lasts longer.I like the fact that it comes with a filter on the intake, to prevent any dust from collecting inside of your device.

It works good
Well I bought this one over the Razor one because of price. The unit feels a little cheap so we will see over time if it holds up, but man does this fan cool down my asus rog g17. Temps went from 89c with gaming to 76c. One drawback is this thing is loud as hell. I don’t mind since I use headphones to game. Also I found the fan speed dial doesn’t have much of a fine range it went from low, medium and high. The dial made it seem like it would have fine tune cfm control. But regardless this will keep your laptop cool during gaming.

Best external laptop fan on the market.
I cannot thank my coworker enough that suggested this to me. I noticed a roughly 10 degree drop in temps overall when running harsh programs like adobe applications and games. I've even noticed my actual laptop fans running far less.Couldn't give it 5 stars due to some of the materials. The arms that extend feel very weak - I find myself knocking them out of place pretty easily and the rubber padding on the feet fall off frequently. The foam is great for conforming to my device, however I do notice it has started to give a little to easily after several months of use. It's loud, but I could care less about that. It's very lightweight and the design makes it very portable. Using it's own power source is a massive plus, I hate taking a USB cord for fans.Get it. Worth.

it's basically a jet engine (in a good way)
Works better than I expected. 2 weeks of use so far. No issues.Pros:- insane cooling. My laptop use to get burning hot under stress, making the keyboard unusable. Now, running at max RPM, it's often COOLER than my body temperature.- Great design. The foam keeps the laptop from sliding around and traps the cool air. Plastic is durable and stable with strong legs.CONS:-LOUD AF. this is probably best suited for home use. Similar to your PS4 struggling to run Crysis. But the cooling performance is worth the noise.-requires DC power to run. Probably cuz thing has a Boeing 747 jet engine.- not very portable. Won't fit into a small backpack or bag.If you are running into thermal throttling cuz your laptop is too hot then this will solve all your issues.

For serious gaming or high resource usage
I'll get this out of the way. This thing is so freaking loud when cranked up all the way. Holy...Now, that's maybe the "negative" because you can actually adjust the fan speed with a little wheel on the side to your liking. The stand itself has foam on top that you break apart to fit the size of your laptop to create a cooling seal with your laptop. The thing is chunky. I expected it to be chunky because of how hardcore those fans can put out. I've played several games already on my laptop and I have noticed that the temps drop quite a bit when I have it at 50%. When I crank it up, it really starts to drop. The fan is worth the price. Seriously.

Pretty Good Cooler
Good, kinda small for huge laptops like the M18 R2, I had to cut some of the foam to make the vents not get blocked and I cant use the metal holders but you can get it to fit perfectly with some tweaking. it's loud but don't need to use it at full speed to get extra cooling.

Works great to keep the laptop running at top speed
My son was complaining about his laptop slowing down. We figured out it was overheating. This fan has worked perfectly to keep it running at full speed.
