My 2006 originals
This will actually be my first investment with these tires, but they must be top of the line because my 2006 Hummer has the original ones on it!! I had no idea because my truck was used when I bought it. After finding this out, I wouldn’t dare consider another brand!

Yet again not impressed with BFG's longevity. How many times will I be fooled?
I immediately loved the tires. The truck rode nice and smooth with no road howl. Tires drove perfectly true down the road. Fast forward...I have about 25k on these tires (despite their 60k rating) and they are damn near wore out. I am on my last 15-20% BEFORE the ware bars. Drove the same gravel roads for hunting that I always do and I hit a small stick as I was parking along the edge of the road. The stick was roughly an inch and a half in diameter and it went right through the tread of the tire. No, it was not through the sidewall. I was shocked to see that it actually penetrated but there I was changing a tire in a precarious spot in the woods. Then on another trip, I drove over a half inch size rock on the paved road and it penetrated leaving me with a flat. My conclusion is that these tires are super tough in the beginning but as you near the last 20%, carry a good spare tire or two because you'll need them. I'm not even waiting to get the last bit out of the tires. Replacing them now and this is the last time I'm duped by BFG.
