I just loved this book as much as previous 2 . It's a great story of two people, living apart together. All their antics had me laughing and also holding my breath too. Really a must read

Funny, heartwarming story of a marriage in crisis.
Great story, but it should have been proof read before publishing. All 3 books in the series so far have loads of grammatical and spelling errors dotted throughout them.

Dear John
An amusing story about a couple who live apart in the same house. At times, I laughed out loud because, having separated from my partner myself, I could relate to this story.

Dear John excellent example of retired couple finding their way
The premise of the three books in this series "living Alone Together" is a married couple whose over bearing husband has renovated their large home into a duplex in answer to his sudden lay off/ retirement forced on him by his employer. The wife realizes while the construction phase is going on that her life as a wife & Mom to their three daughters is over they have moved out & live on their own. So she quits her unsatisfactory part time secretary job & through friends & her youngest daughter isencouraged enough to follow her dream while she was in college to write but what? She decides to write about what she knows how hard it is at their age, her husband is similar in age, to find meaning in their everyday lives & how retirement isn't all it's cracked up to be.She starts a blog & it takes off. The second book is a tribute to how much she enjoys writing, the staff at the magazine where she works, she also has a column that appears in the magazine, & how satisfying working at something you love is.The third book "Dear John" is about the struggles her husband has been having to deal with the realization his wife might not move home with him. I find him a husband I would not only leave but wave enthusiastically bye bye! Especially after destroying his wife's lovely garden it took her 20 years to grow from scratch gone in one day! I love the plot twists the author put in all three books I think I know where it is going & surprise!I have recently lost my husband, he was a very educated man, & could be a bit like the husband in this book thankfully he loved gardening as much as I did. And like the wife in these books our Son is grown, married but no family yet so I am no one now. Don't let anyone tell you the word Widow is easy to say after 33 years of being a wife & mother because it's NOT! I find these books very relateable. I too am looking for a new future.Even if you aren't looking for a new future you will really enjoy the well written characters how realistically they are written, same for the dialogue, & the very well thought out plot. Now if the author could only write them longer & quicker I'd be overjoyed. When she ends this series I see withdrawal coming as I have really enjoyed the writing.
