Size:Small What is a recovery coneThe primary purpose of the cone is to prevent pets from directly traumatizing the surgical site or injured area by chewing or scratching. Although some animals initially dislike the cone and try to remove it, most quickly adapt. The flexibility of the cone does increase the chance of restless animals being able to reach injured areas. Some pets have been successful flip over the cone or even have it removed. To avoid accidents or further injury, it’s important to directly supervise your pet during the first few hours of wearing a cone.My pet doesn’t like wearing itIf your vet prescribes a cone for your pet following surgery or injury, there are simple things you can do to make the recovery process a little easier on them. It may take a little time for your pet to adjust to wearing a cone, but by projecting a positive attitude, providing plenty of treats, and learning a little more about the benefits of the cone, your pet will have better chances of recovering sooner. Is it necessary to use the recovery conePets have an amazing inherited skill, which allows them to chew up twenty stitches or staples in less than two seconds flat. You probably don’t want to pay extra money to fix open incisions at your vet or the emergency clinic. By the time you realize it, it’s too late! Sizing for each pet is unique. We highly recommend you measure your pet precisely with a flexible tape measure to ensure the best fit. Contact us if you have question. We are happy to help.

Great for small dogs around young kids!
Ordered a large for our 11.5lb miniature poodle after his neuter, and probably should have gotten the medium. I was able to use sticky velcro to get the fit right around the neck, and although the medium would have fit out of the box, I think the extra radius the large provided ended up being beneficial for keeping our pup from squishing the cone at night and licking his incision. We were looking for a soft cone with Prime delivery since we were going to be seeing our young nieces and nephews and didn't want the hard cone from the vet to scratch them or knock down the walking toddlers. This was a huge hit with kids and adults alike.Would also recommend for dogs who are sensitive to the noise amplification hard cones make when they bump into things.

Very cute but flops inside out.
Super cute but my pup knows how to turn it inside out. It does serve it’s purpose (preventing him from chewing on his itchy skin-due to allergies) & it is very cute. Not stiff so he can’t hurt the others around him and himself!I wish the other side had something just as cute as the frog eyes, but the price can’t be beat for comfort and purpose.

I loved that this recovery cone was soft and didn’t make ...
I loved that this recovery cone was soft and didn’t make loud noises that scared my puppy. I was concerned that the Velcro might come loose but it stayed closed even with play. My only issue was that my dog was able to get to his neuter incision once, although this may have been the case with a traditional cone as well. I solved the problem by putting him in human baby pajamas at night and while he was alone.

Pretty good
I got this as the traditional hard plastic cone was rubbing and irritating my dog's skin around his kneck. He finds this a lot more comfortable, and it's cute to add to it. I've gotten a few complements from people saying how cute it is and asking where they can buy it. My only complaint so far is that the "eyes" won't stay upright as the cone likes to turn as he goes about his day. I would still recommend it however as it does serve it's purpose and prevents him from chewing his fur off due to his allergies. *EDITED*. So have had those for a couple weeks and my dog figured how to flip this inside out and chewed himself till he bled. I modified by safety pinning the normal hard plastic cone around the outside of this soft one so it's still comfortable for him yet at the same time no more flipping inside out. (2nd photo) Hope this helps someone.

Comfortable and does the job. Would recommend
We loved this collar! While it is pliable, my 5 month old teddy bear puppy (who weighs 10 lbs when he used it) was unable to reach his castration stitches while wearing it. We purchased it in small and placed it on him for an hour a day for a couple of days before his surgery. This allowed him to get used to it and he didn’t fight it when he really needed it. It was flexible enough so that it could bend on the floor when he ate - not causing and obstruction - and it served as a pillow when he slept because the material is a bit plush. The Velcro latched securely and never came off despite my Frankie being a whirlwind when he gets excited. Overall, a good buy.

Great product, highly recommend
Well if everyone has to endure the cone of shame you might as well get some enjoyment out of it. My dog obviously hated it but good grief it was hilarious for me and anyone she came in contact with. She adjusted well and figured out how to adapt to life with it on. The first day she just stared at me as if to say I was playing a joke on her she didn’t get. My dog is a 10lb long haired chihuahua. Her hair/fur and neck are thicker than most. The Velcro lined up almost perfectly for her with the size small.

Cute but not practical
This collar did not work for my dog. It was too big and he got it off in about 5 seconds. There are no accurate size guides with this collar. You should order two sizes and see what fits. Also if your dog is feisty he/she will get the Velcro undone instantly. I will say it was extremely cute. I had to return for a different collar.
