Very Bright and works great! Super dimmable!
Just installed these today in my 5 bulb kitchen hanging chandelier fixture (standard-size torch shape, so since the lighted ends of these seem to be very wide I was very worried they wouldn't fit..but they fit PERFECTLY!) and couldn't be happier! They are bright, and dim very well. Can adjust to any specific brightness without flickering! I had an extra bulb, so decided to install in laundry room where I have another dimming circuit. The bulb currently there does not dim, so once I put this new one it, it was just very low, flickering, and then doesn't dim at all! I tested the bulbs in laundry (that I replaced in kitchen), and there is no dimming. So I believe the low light, flickering, and non-dimming was definitely due to a faulty dimming circuit. Why do I mention this? Because before I bought these, I noticed some negative reviews mentioning the exact same thing. I believe it is due to a faulty circuit or incompatibility with certain circuits.

Bright & clear
I needed a replacement bulb for one that had burned out, so I gave these a chance. The cost was great and they fit perfectly into the fixtures (exactly like the standard bulb), but didn't generate a ton of heat like the old ones. The light is VERY bright and VERY white. There is no warmth to it, at all, but I kind of like that in the overhead lights in my kitchen. I don't think that I'd like this as much in any other room. Very good value.
