So far this is one of my favorite pillows I've ever owned. I am sleeping better on it than I did with my old pillow. When first unwrapped the pillow it did have a slight smell from the foam which was barely noticeable and dissipated within a few days. The removable bamboo cover is durable and sooo soft. Have only had it for a week so will see how it holds up over time...

After i got a memory foam mattress my downpillow and standard pillows no longer worked and caused a lot of waking up throughout the night.I was really skeptical which pillow to get that would help my pain and tossing and turning, i know solid memory foam is to hard and high for my neck. I looked at a hundred different shredded memory foam pillows thinking i could at least mold it to my liking. The woosa said you can take some of the filling out so i figured i could really customize it to what i like so i bought it. I recieved my pillow in 2 days let it expand for a day, threw it in the dryer for about 10 minutes, it had a slight smell to it but so did my mattresses, nothing incredibly overwhelming. I thought it would be a little fluffier since you have the option to take some stuffing out so i nicely emailed the company saying it might be nice to offer a little more stuffing so theres more option to take away or have a real fluffy pillow. The company emailed me asking how much more they could send. I was so shocked how nice and accommodating they were for doing this. The guy told me usually people like to take stuffing out but hed be more than happy to send more.A lot of the negative reviews are about the smell and how flat or heavy it is. Its a pillow so of course itll flatten out after awhile but not sink into the bed flat. And the smell isnt that bad and goes away after a day or 2, spray some febreeze youll be ok. And it is heavier than a regular pillow, its not a trashbag in the wind. And the material is different types of shredded foam but it doesnt make it any less comfortable than pieces that were all the same color.I was really skeptical about this pillow but i am more than happy with my purchase after more than a week of good sleep, my husband tries to take over my pillow all the time, im defintely considering buying another.

After a dbl spinal fusion and dbl disc replacement (all in the cervical spine), this pillow is awesome! 10 years suffering with neck pain upon waking, tried so many pillows. I just got it and only slept on it two nights, but no neck pain in the morning. Unfortunately, I still wake with numb arms and hands, but I have bad nerve damage. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PILLOW!!! We ordered a set of these (queen size) for our guest bedroom and decided to try them out for ourselves to see how they were. Loved them so much we got a set for ourselves. Everyone is has different tastes and opinions on things like pillows but both of us really like these, no difference in how they feel after having them for 5 months. We have had tempurpedic, artificial feather, specially shaped/memory foam ones throughout the years and really like these the best. They do not reflect heat and are really easy to shape just the way you want it to be. I have wide shoulders and am a side sleeper, this is the first pillow I can shape tall enough the my neck is straight as I sleep.

If you are looking for a soft pillow you can literally "melt into" this is a great option. If you are familiar and used to traditional memory foam pillows, this is going to be much different from what you are used to. When it arrives, the pillow is going to be in a bag that had all the air suctioned out of it. Upon opening the bag, the pillow immediately puffs out to more than twice the size it arrives in. There is not offensive odor present and the case is very clean and smooth. Because I clean my bedding often, I did put my regular pillow case over it to sleep with. Even with the cover on, my lower neck and head felt like it was melting immediately rather than gradually like my tempur-pedic. I really wasn't sure how I would feel about the shredded compared to the molded pillows, but I love it!

This pillow is a nice pillow. The only problem is, there's not enough of it! I ordered a Queen (20"x30") and it measures 17"x23.5"!!!!! REALLY? And not nearly enough stuffing! These pillows are designed so that you can remove some of the stuffing to get the right size and shape that you want! NOPE. I would need to add filling.I am really disappointed because I was really excited to get this pillow after reading all the reviews. I don't know if this is a manufacturer defect or what. But I don't want to have to gamble again and wait for another one and get the same thing. I don't know if "Woosa" has a good customer service department but I'll try.It really is a nice pillow, but it's rinky-dinky! Not even as large as a Standard size pillow. WHAT???? And for $40? Not the most expensive pillow I've bought, but certainly not the cheapest. I certainly expect something better than this!

My husband and I were traveling and the hotel we stayed at had shredded memory foam pillows, something I haven't seen before. So I went onto the SmileAmazon.com site and found these. This pillow is very comfortable since it is shredded gel memory foam. The foam pieces move freely and the pillow can be fluffed up and rearranged like an old fashioned pillow. I have been trying to find a comfortable pillow that wasn't too firm for a long time and I finally found it. The only thing that I changed was the pillow was a little over stuffed for me, so I took out some of the gel memory foam pieces and put it away in case I would need it later. Now the pillow is the right height for me. This was so easy to do.
