Okay safety razor virgin here, well sort of. I bought this to be a bit more eco conscious, also it’s cute af. WELL my mind is blown and I’ll tell you why, I wear glasses because I’m blind as a bat, so I brought my razor in the shower and did like 3 overly cautious strokes of my leg, not even sure if I was touching my skin with the razor or just the safe outside of it. I decided I should be more careful and use it outside the shower with my glasses on so stopped there. I’m still in my TOWEL writing this review because I just put my glasses on and my leg is BALD, like BARE. So imagine I put effort into shaving and wear my glasses oh my goodness the RESULTS I’m gonna get!! Basically it is magic, only explanation. I barely felt a thing on my skin, because I let the weight of the head of the razor do it’s thing like the instructions said to. Wow. Very impressed now.

Like many millenials, I'm on a mission to decrease my plastic waste, so exchanging disposable razors for a safety razor was an obvious easy swap. The razor itself looks beautiful, and was dead easy to put together after disassembling to install the blade. I had also read that safety razors are much gentler on the skin, and as such are better for reducing razor bumps/shaving rash etc. To be honest, I can't help but think of the tools the use to shave kebab meat in chips shops whenever I use this on my legs. I have sacrificed a hell of a lot of flesh in my quest to reduce my plastic consumption with this razor. I imagine it's my poor technique, but it's worth bearing in mind that using this product will take a bit of getting used to. Watch some instructional videos to save yourself a lot of scabs!

Why why why have I been shaving with girly lilac plastic disposable razors all my life? Razors that clog and seem to arrive blunt?I’ll admit this arrived around 10 minutes ago but since I binned my old razor in frustration over a week ago I was keen to give this one a go and oh mannnn it was a dream to use, I barely felt any contact with my skin but it glides effortlessly through the leg Forest leaving the smoothest dolphin skin imaginable. Completely plastic free and looks pretty swish too.Amaziiiing.

Brilliant. I was using my husband’s traditional razor but bought this when I got sick of him complaining that I was blunting his blades.Now he’s using mine because he likes it better than his own 😂😂Took one star of handling because it is a little heavy, but I really like it otherwise and will be buying one for my husband so he’s not blunting my blades...

This safety razor is stunning, it provides a close shave and is so pretty. The online user manual makes it possible to know what to do for the first shave. I have used it for a month now and can tell that I have less ingrown hairs.

This is an excellent, well made product. Looks good is easy to use and sturdy enough to last. Easy to assemble and to clean after use.I am old enough to have had one of these in my younger days and regret that it was replaced by disposables.I bought it as I was concerned about the environmental impact of disposable plastic waste.Having had to use a disposable razor in the shower on a daily basis I am amazed by the results from using this. Once a week is all I need now!After the first time using it the condition of the skin on my legs improved. No longer dry and flaking. The regrowth is soft and sparse. I have been using it since March. So happy to have changed back to reusable - really wish I'd done it sooner.The benefit of using this exceeded my expectations.

I was very sceptical about this at first. Mainly because I was terrified to use it! I'm really funny when it comes to sharp objects, cringe even while using disposable razors. I'm trying to change my lifestyle to more eco friendly, so after a few weeks of contemplating buying this, I thought I'd take the plunge. It's quite intimidating to look at, even after watching numerous videos about how to use them, I was still worried. My partner let me try it out on his legs first, so I could get used to using it, and because he doesn't mind if it cuts him. When I went into the shower, I wasn't holding it right, it takes some getting used too, but after a couple of trys, I was shaving like a pro. Even got confident and shaved under my arms, knees and ankles. I cut myself a couple of times, but not as bad as I would when I used a disposable razor. In fact, when I did cut myself, I didn't even notice until I saw a little bit of blood. I found disposable razor cuts would sting/ take a chunk, whereas the safety razor didn't. I get awful razor burn and ingrown hairs after using disposable razors, but this razor has caused no problems like that. I highly recommend, especially for those who are awkward with shaving.

I bought this to eliminate plastic use in my household and it’s a great substitute, shaves much smoother and doesn’t rip skin like the plastic shavers do after second use. It’s much more sustainable and I bought 100 blades which will probably last me a year. It took some getting used to holding it as it’s much heavier to hold but after a couple of times it works fine, it’s really sharp first thing and takes some care and practice but after I got hang of it and now don’t wanna change ever again. Great value and quality for value and helps the environment.
