This lock does exactly what I need it to do - and at a great price! We have children visit our home from time to time. While I keep my firearms unloaded and out of the way, I know better than to underestimate a child's ability to find and get into things. So, I use this lock to secure my firearms and prevent their accidental misuse. It gives me a great peace of mind (and it is the right thing to do). The lock is well-made for its purpose. The fact that all locks of this series are identically keyed is a tremendous convenience. I highly recommend this lock, in particular, but also PTS in general. I had a minor issue with an order that they very quickly, completely, and kindly remedied. Their customer service is outstanding. I wish all companies provided this level of service!

This item worked well for my .22 handgun, given that we've got a child we wanted to make sure our firearm was properly stored and this did the trick

Good quality. Will protect usage of firearm from accidental usage. Cable can be cut with the right equipment.

Same as the cable that’s included with new Glock handguns. Be aware that it’s also the same key which makes it easier at the range and for transport.

This is pretty much exactly what I wanted, but its not the most robust piece of equipment. The key fits loosely and feels like I could shear something off if I twisted too hard. It does work however and was plenty long to fit in the action of my 12GA.

Does the job for a great price. Per California state law I need one……
