Product reasonably priced and works great for breaking in new shoes within 48 hours. Highly recommended.

First off, I wear extra wide shoes and this doesn’t expand as much as I really needed. As others have stated, some parts are not very substantial such as the washer used. I would also like to have had more options of where to place the plastic pressure point bunion pieces as well as maybe more of, or different sizes. I made modifications to mine as another user did. I built up a fiberglass overlay that was closer to my foot size and fit nicely over the wooden shoe tree. Held those on with some metal pins then drilled new holes to better match where I needed the bunion plugs. I also disassembled the length adjuster so I could put a thick washer on then threaded the end to put a nut on to keep spreader from falling off when retracting it. Now this works much better for my needs. If you have a standard width shoe, this probably would work pretty good. The washer is probably the weakest point. Why they used this flimsy thin washer I don’t know. Couldn’t have been much of a cost saving factor but it’s not going to stand up to much pressure regardless. You could always just drill some new holes for the bunion plugs if needed. This truly does stretch out my new shoes and cuts down on the lengthy, painful break in period. Highly recommend.

I haven't seen an old-fashioned shoe stretcher like this since my grandfather's when I was a little girl. These are even better! He only had 1, this comes with 2. Also these stretch the shoe lengthwise and widthwise. They also come with attachments for stretching little places where you may have bunions or corns. Very well made and worth the price!

I am completely revising my review. Now 4 stars.After use on many shoes, I realized it is very effective. My only complaint is that you do not have the opportunity to buy for one particulat foot. ( L or R or L& R). This why 4 stars not 5.

Easy to use

I got this to enlarge a pair of shoes I got on Ebay. Though I am still letting them stretch, I wanted to post my first impressions.These shoe stretchers seem to be built well and the directions are easy to follow. One small issue is that the tip of the stretcher doesn't seem to go anywhere close to the tip of the shoe-Perhaps it makes sense, as there is really little that area of leather could stretch, but it seemed odd to me.Second, the little raised plastic buttons seem to have a great initial fit, but after one or two insertions, become a bit loose and can slip off whilst inserting them into the shoe.Third, I think instead of using the plastic buttons, using something like foam or felt with an adhesive backing would do a nicer job as it would spread out the area to be stretched instead of being a single point.

Simply works... couldn't believe it.I was hopeful that these would work but, was also prepared to send them back for refund...Thought I would have to return, rather than exchange a new pair of golf shoes because they were too tight and the store didn't have next 1/2 size up and now, after stretching, the new shoes are perfect! I also fixed 2 other pairs of golf shoes that had become tight on one foot as well!! Everyone should own a set of stretchers!

Top j’ai pu remettre des baskets qui me faisait mal aux pied j’ai réussi à les agrandir et les élargir . C’est vraiment pratique et ça fonctionne vraiment. Je le recommande et en plus même au niveau prix ça n’est pas exorbitant

These are as advertised and work very well so easy to use

I bought a spray to put on the shoes before stretching but this proved ineffective. The trick is to soak the front half of the shoe in water then do the stretching. Stretch the shoes in stages to check the fit, each time overnight. My wife now is wearing 'never worn' shoes and my beloved Church's now fit my spreading feet.The cost of the stretchers worth every penny as now using shoes that had become unwearable.
