Great game - terrible price.
This game is a staple of the hobby. Wargaming might not even exist had it not been for this game. It's fun, even as simple as it is by today's standards. The price they are asking though is just unrealistic. You can buy this game complete and in good to very good condition for $5-$15 on ebay. Even if it were NIB with the cellophane (which it apparently isn't since they have a photo of the board) it wouldn't be worth this price.

Tactics II: The Original and Still GREAT!
For a generation and more of the earliest board wargamers, their sons, and now their grandsons, TACTICS II was their "First Love." This emminently playable, easy to learn, yet highly variable military strategy game can be enjoyed by men and boys, 8 to 80 (and "girls of the right sort," to quote H.G. Welles, author of the first, popular war game book, "Little Wars"). Two hypothetical countries share a land mass, beautifully mapped, and a belligerent attitude. Modern era forces (with 20th Century military capabilities) include playing pieces for infantry, armor, parachute, and amphibious divisions. Combat is resolved using a Combat Results Table and dice. Odds are improved by superior force and map positions. An entire campaign can be played in a couple of hours, or less. Great tool for testing strategies, simple or complex campaign plans, and battle skills. Highly recommended for both beginning and advanced players.

Don't buy it here
Very simplistic war game from the 1960's, using squares instead of hexagons for maneuvering pieces. Battle system is basic attacker eliminated, defender eliminated, or exchange. One of the first games I ever owned. No way worth what they are asking. Original price was less than $10. There are so many better military simulations out there from GMT games and others to waste your money on this. If you have a desire to play an old hypothetical battle game with division level pieces, get the old Avalon Hill "Blitzkrieg". If you insist on buying this for nostalgia, then get on EBay where at least you can get it for a reasonable price.
