Phizz Good Guts: Daily 12-Strain Multibiotic - 10 Billion CFU + Prebiotic + Vitamin D

I bought the phizz tablets (for hydration) and saw these so thought ill give them a try, (everywhere you look it talks of "good gut health"I took this product for a month didn't notice much difference initially but then after about 10 days my bowel movements were so much more regular, but didn't really know if it was down to these tablets, HOWEVER I ran out and thought ill see how I go, a week later I'm constipated my stomach is bloated amd uncomfortable and I'm back on here to reorder!

A nutritionist suggested that I should start taking a probiotic recently - I decided to try these as I love the Phizz multivitamin/rehydration tabs. As someone who suffers from IBS (constipation), I can say these probiotics are fantastic! I have been taking one capsule daily since they arrived and noticed more regular bowel movements. Also noticed big improvements with gas/bloating. I like that they have the added benefit of vitamin D & selenium so I don’t need to take these separately.

I've been using these for about 10 days, & I must say, they do seem to help wirh my tummy problems, I don't seem to have many pains in my tummy only the odd one or two, I don't seem to have so much wind either, & I'm going to the toilet more normally now to. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this continues, I've have recommended them to my Grandaughter, as she hase similar problems. I will deffinatly be buying some more. Loads of these types of thing are available and some of them seem to attract a higher cost, such as these, £24.99 for a 1 month supply. 10 billion CFU and 12 strains is a good count but far from unique. There is a good mix of strains but they are just so expensive, I really can't see from the ingredients how the price is justified vs other similar items that come in half this price. If you don't care about price, there is nothing wrong with these but for me personally I'll be getting the far cheaper items with the same ingredients.

Easy to use and swallow. Seems like an efficacious product

I found that these capsules were OK to swallow and had no noticeable taste. They contain an impressive 12 strains of good bacteria. But I'm not keen on supplements that combine other common ingredients that I'm already getting in the form of multivitamin tablets. These capsules contain vitamin D3 and selenium, which I don't need and don't want to pay extra for. However, it's the price I can't recommend here - just under £25 for only 1 month's supply. That would make a hefty annual cost of £300 for a 365-day supply. Maybe it's not necessary to take pro-biotics over the long term anyway, but this price is challenging for me.

I have been in the supplement business for a number of years. I am always on the lookout for new interesting products. Digestive issues, gut problems and GI tract irritation are becoming more and more common. Such issues are linked to our poor diets of processed foods, food depleted of goodness from soil that is lacking in minerals, the lack of certain traditional spicy food that our grandparents ate, which helped their digestion. More and more research is linking poor immunity to problematic digestion. Keeping the digestion in good order can also help prevent painful problems such as diverticulitis, which becomes more prevalent as you age. This product is based upon sound alternative supplemental principles. It contains a Prebiotic, 12 strains of ProBiotic, selenium, chicory and vitamin D. Vitamin D has proven qualities to calm an inflamed gut. Large doses will help conditions such as diverticulitis. It is essential that anyone suffering from gut issues takes a strong form of D. Selenium is a trace element that has been shown to modulate gut microbiota composition and ameliorate intestinal mucositis. Selenium, therefore, helps to restore the gut balance. Chicory is an inulin fibre and so acts as the PreBiotic. A PreB is needed. It is the sort of fertiliser that makes the ProB work. Finally, you have the 12 strains of ProB's with 10 Billion CFU's. This is not the strongest tablet I have tested, 50 Billion is the strongest, but it is still very good. The big problem is knowing with strains are missing from your digestive tract. This is why you get 12 strains. So the makeup of this product is very good. So does it work? I have taken it as directed. I have digestive issues and it certainly calms my stomach, releases the gas and improves the feeling in my intestines, which can get irritated. It is a little like a natural Buscopan in what it does. Do I recommend it? Yes, it works well and you can soon feel the benefits. Recommended.
