Bought this 4-pack of Duracell Plus D batteries because the cheaper brands always seem to run out halfway through opening a toy or using a torch. They hold their charge really well and give reliable power right up until the end. With D-size batteries being a bit bulky and less common in everyday gadgets, it's nice to know these won't leak or die on you after sitting in a drawer for a few months. A bit more expensive than supermarket basics, but well worth it for things you don't want to keep changing batteries in. Good to keep a pack as spares!
