Ohio George Montgomery Drag Racing's Gasser King

Overall, the book was a major disappointment. Dull, dry. There were a very few little bits of info that aren't perhaps commonly known. There are some great pictures, and a few comments by George to the book's credit, but that's it. Hardly up to par for one of the greatest racers ever. George is sort of a low-key guy in some ways, so maybe this is the way he wanted it, but no one is going to read it for reading pleasure, or to find out anything about the way George ticks.

A good read about a legend in drag racing. A revealing look at the professional career of the winningest builder/driver ever in his class. Don't expect to find all of his speed secrets to be revealed (although some are). It is about what he did, not how he did it.

Always admired Ohio George, and wanted to know more about him. Now I do! Great effort,great read! Vern

This is an interesting and very informative book, easy to read yet detailed with a great deal of never before discussed or released material. I enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone involved with this activity.
