The closing part of the lid doesn't snap down when open so it gets in the way a little. Also, these may work better with cold liquids, but I use my cup for coffee daily and the heat pushes this lid out if the drinking spout is closed. If you leave the spout open the lid does not work it's way out, but leaving the spout open defeats the purpose of having a lid with a closing spout. So, I switched back to the original lid that came with my Yeti Rambler. I think a lid with a sliding spout cover instead of a hinged one might work better.

Finally I can take my tumbler around with no worries of spilling! The lid fits so snugly that I actually have to pop up the opening cover to be able to take it off or put back on, so I'm confident it's never just going to fall out (confident enough that I'll even carry it inside the same bag as electronics). I've dropped my tumbler plenty but still no impact to the lid or its fit. Excellent product!

Works ok. Definitely stops liquid from leaking. It has some problems though. First, it works a little too good in terms of stopping it from leaking. It does not have any sort of vent, so several times already the pressure from the steam will build up and pop the lid right off. Second, once you get down to the end of your drink, you cant really tilt it back very far because the little flap hits your nose and wets it. Overall its ok, but I will probably buy another one and hope it works better.

Kind of a bummer that the black part doesn't sit flush against the lid. So when you take drinks after having it closed and maybe moving it around, you could get coffee on your nose. You have to get use to wiping it off before taking a drink, but it would be nice if the part that closes would sit flush witht he lid.

Fits well and works for the little Yeti that I stole from the kitchen cupboards at work.Hey, no one else was claiming it...

The O-ring on it works but could be better. also you open the lid and it hits you in the nose every sip which is super annoying to me so I leave cap on until i get to work and take the whole lid off to drink my coffee.

Wasn't using it for a Yeti but was using it for a 20 oz tumbler leak from the seal did not hold coffee and very well. Probably works better on a Yeti but can't say for sure I was using it on the daily wire tumbler

I had an open one and being able to close the lid on my YETI cup is great.

It keeps dirt and what not out but it doesn't 'stay sealed' (the lid itself rises up a bit)
