Gaposa Oven Rack Burn Guard (2PCS) Prevent Nasty Burns Easily Attaches To Oven Racks

This is funny but scary too, my cleaning lady turned on my self cleaning oven and forgot to take these out. With in about 45 min the whole house was filled with smoke. So she came got me in my office and we ran in and turned off self clean, not thinking it takes about an hour to cool down enough to open the door and there was a small fire in there as the silicone was on fire. Long story short it was a REAL mess, so please don't forget to take them out before using self clean. Operator error not product fault at all. Good warning though!

Bought these for my Mom as she recently burned herself on the oven rack. Mom has a Wolf Oven and these fit beautifully on the racks. Originally I bought two sets thinking she'd want to have it across the entire rack, but she likes just the one set covering the middle portion of the rack since that is the area she works in the most. We put this to the test this past weekend for our annual cookie baking weekend. The oven was going non-stop for at least 8 hours a day and two days in a row (350 degrees). These worked perfectly! No smell, no melting, no worries. They do get warm, but it's nothing like getting burned by the metal rack. The best part is there is less worry/fear of getting burned when putting things in and taking things out of the oven. As for the extra set - these will go to another family member.

I got these for my mother who is infamous for burning herself while cooking. The poor woman has scars all over her forearms from years of needing a product just like this. I was worried these might not be wide enough to be effective, but I watched her bump her arm right into it as she went to take cookies out of the oven on Christmas and she was fine. Definitely worth the money!

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. I've have the same product for several years now and it really has prevented the burns I would get when going in my oven.

I got these for several at Christmas and EVERYONE new what they were for and showed off scars from not having them. Decent quality, probably would get again.

These do help to keep your skin from burning if accidentally touched. I didn't realize it would act as a grip so I can't slide my pans into the oven without lifting it over this guard.I also would have chosen a different color. I keep thinking the oven is on or hot.

I am so glad I found these oven rack burn guards at a reasonable price on Amazon. Other sale catalogs were overpriced and cheaply made. I love them and they are strong against heat. Great product!!!
