These are excellent!
Easy to fill, and we were all surprised at how long they stay warm. The cover is thick, so we just use a flannel pillow case instead, and it allows the heat to come right through. It would be great to offer these in a larger size as well, but these were definitely a good choice.

some plusses, some minuses -- the cover is useless
I bought this for the purpose of easing arthritis pain in my hand. Using it with the cover, however, is useless because the cover is soooo thick that you feel very little warmth. I tried it without the cover, and it was fine (same effect, basically, as your standard drugstore hot water bottle). The shape, of this hot water bottle, however, is not ideal for the hand. I imagine, however, that it would be great for, say, abdominal pain relief. In that regard, it is better than your standard drugstore hot water bottle because it covers a larger surface area.Depending on your heat tolerance, you just need to be careful about how hot the water is that you fill it with; you might also want to make sure you either have a layer of clothing underneath it OR use a light towel or something to protect the skin. Also: I'm able to get water that's quite hot from my tap (as long as I let it run for a bit), so that's what I used. Since this was adequate, I haven't used boiling water from my teapot -- seems like an unnecessary risk because the hot tap water did the trick. I recomment caution here ... perhaps heating your water to just under the boiling point. One more cautionary note: be extra careful, especially when trying to fill the hot water bottle to the max -- if you hold it to fill it, do NOT set it down on the counter or whatever to screw on the lid as hot water fill pour out of the top on to your hand. Either don't fill it all the way ... or hold the hot water bottle aloft while screwing the lid on.

Nice product
I didn't see any review at the time of purchase, so I hesitated to buy it, but took a chance and glad I bought it. It is exactly as described, as you see in the picture. I fill with water of temperature right before boiling, and it stays very warm for about 30 minutes, and stay somewhat warm for additional one hour or so. I've been using microwave heat pad, and heat on those only last for about 20 mintes, so wanted something that lasted longer. Cover is very nice and soft and the best part is you can insert your hands there. I find it such a unique and great idea. Also it is very easy to fill water. I like it. Glad I bought it. Took one star out because I wished the heat lasted just a bit longer, but I still like it.

Great without the outer cover
I've been putting boiling water in mine. I guess the outer sleeve would be great if you don't want the thing too hot to the touch, but on top of a sweatshirt and blanket it perfect for me. Great cramp relief, great for cold nights. The cat and I love it!

Not Exactly What I Expected
The bottle was smaller than I expected. Secondly, the instructions warned against boiling water, therefore.. the bottle did not hold heat long enough to do any good. The hot water bottles we used years ago could hold boiling water.

This small covered water bottle heats the most chilliest of nights!
I/we have given this product the test in the chilliest of nights & has been found to be a good product! The fleece cover makes it a bit more luxurious. A very personal size but it does the trick of relieving the coolth when you needed it! Hot water bottle delivers!

The future of hot water bottles
The media could not be loaded. I really don’t get why there were reviews from people saying they couldn’t fill this up (must have been jealous competitors) - I recorded a video of me doing it with one hand! It’s so much easier and safer than a normal hot water bottle. The mechanism is super simple, it’s also lovely and warm (I used boiling water) and I love the little hand pocket. Also, it’s super soft and I’m VERY fussy when it comes to soft things :)It might be a little smaller than a regular hot water bottle, but it’s a great fit on your stomach when you’ve got cramps.*Update after a few days: I had to knock off a star from this review as it only stays warm for about an hour.

Its very small
Product extremely well made but very small, approx half the size of a standard u.k hottie. i liked the idea that you could lie the bottle down and fill, which is a great idea and very practical and safe however its use is hampered by poorly designed access opening on cover, which is fiddly to say the least. otherwise great product and liked the flap for hand warming.

Unusual style but great
Not your normal shape of hot water bottle but this small one is really good. I suffer from bad hand circulation and I can slip my hands into the muff style very soft cover. Care must be taken when filling any bottle with hot water but this one is laid out on a flat surface and can be filled without holding it. Read the instructions before using it. Would definitely buy again.

Handy little bottle
I like the size of this, handy to travel with. The cover is very soft.I use this for my lower back pain but it’s also good for tummy ache as can slip a hand in the pouch to keep in place.Easy to fill with the telescopic feature which allows less air to get in.

Ideal if you struggle to open water bottles.
I got this as a present for someone as they suffer with bad wrists. She can open this bottle easily without compromising her safety and can also use it's easy pour function by simply popping up the lid in the middle of the bottle as it lays flat on surface. It's not a massive bottle and cover but she can slip her hands in to its pocket at the front. Ideal for people with arthritis.
