Battery life, dim
Alot dimmer then I thought it would be, but at night when riding it's bright enough to see ahead and dim enough to not blind drivers, battery life is okay but the battery drains even when not in use so many sure to charge to full before each ride you plan on using the lights

Recommend but some small Issues
I’ve used these for several years and currently have four, I’ve had two for about 7 years. I would recommend them for this price point. They charge easily, and are pocketable,l and simple to take on and off and mostly reliable. I live in a city where people will steal lights, so I appreciate how easy they are to get on and off. For the same reason, they are a good choice since, if they are lost or stolen they are not too expensive to replace. Battery life is usually not an issue, they are great for commuting and maintaining basic visibility to cars. I leave my bike out in the rain usually, and they have had no issues with that either. My biggest isssue is the following: Because the on/off mechanism is perpendicular with the bike bar, when mounted some lights do not turn on correctly and sometimes the bike shaking can turn them off. I think this is more of a defect on some, as it doesn’t effect all my lights, but it is very frustrating. Over time my older lights faded in the sun from a black color to more of a brown-bronze.

Love the simplicity
It’s great light when you have a million other things on your bike. Doesn’t get in the way and doesn’t get hot. Great for day time rides and night time rides.

Great for daylight visibility
I bought these as daylight visibility lights and, in that respect, they are excellent with only one caveat which is related to the mount. They should not be used as night lights. As soon as you take these out of the box you can see the build quality is excellent. You get the front and rear lights, two rubber mounting straps, and two six inch USB charging cables. The lights are metal with a plastic lens/switch. The click of the switch is firm, there are no gaps between components, no flaws, and no wobble or stiffness. The mounting straps are like tiny little rubber ladders. You hook one rung under one wing of the light and chose which rung to hook onto the other wing. You can easily attach these to standard handlebars (26mm) but to attach them to an oversized handlebar (32mm) would take some hand strength as you would have to stretch the rubber hard. They will easily attach to much smaller objects. I attached my rear light to a bungee cord that stabilizes my rear panniers. The light clip on your saddle bag will work well, but you can't clip it to your helmet or your jersey pocket.I notice you can buy longer straps for these lights that would make it easy to attach them to thicker handlebars or poles. The only problem I have with the mount (and this is minor) is that the light is always perpendicular to the object you attach it to. This means the seat stays and the seat post are not suitable mount points unless you are trying to signal low-flying aircraft. As you mount them, you will inevitably figure out how to turn them on. You press the lens. There is a solid mode, a fast and a slow flash, and a 'wave' mode where it slowly gets brighter, then dimmer. Keep clicking the lens until you get the mode you want. There is no lockout mode so you will probably turn these on if you try to transport them in a bag. I've seen may Amazon users return other lights and claim they didn't work, simply because they didn't realize they shipped in lockout mode (and didn't bother to read the instructions), so I can understand the decision not to include this feature. The front light is noticeably brighter than the rear one. It's possibly the best daylight visibility front light I've seen. The rear light is not so good. It's adequate, but I think my road bike's current rear light is better. I will still use it, but only on my touring bike.I took these lights along for a sunset ride yesterday. I could see the front light on the road 15 minutes after the sun went down, but even in total darkness it did not improve my view of the road at all.Looking at the shape of the light shining on the ground, the field of view is about 160 degrees which means they can't be seen by drivers approaching from the side. Although it will keep you legal at night, it is not bright enough to illuminate your way in the dark or to make you stand out from all the light pollution in an urban setting. I do not recommend them for night riding. The charging ports are protected by a solid rubber cap. Both lights show a red color while charging and a green color when fully charged. The front light lasts about 10 hours on a full charge and the rear light lasts about 14 hours. Both lights take two to three hours to fully charge from empty. To give you something to compare them to, I ride Cygolite Expilion front lights and Cygolite Hotshot tail lights at night.

front light dead after a year
The back light (red) is still going strong after a year. It is compact and bright. The front light, however, has basically stopped working. I'm lucky to get more than 45 minutes of charge with it. I'm going to try another product.

Great little lights!
Due to the shape of the bars on my new road bike (2017 Roubaix), when a Garmin 520 on an "out front" mount is present, centered in front of the stem, it didn't leave much room for a light to be attached next to it (could have made it work by moving the Garmin off to one side, with the light on the other side, but I like the computer to be centered). Those small/cheap silicone-encased lights would probably work, but it seems like most of them are not rechargeable, and also the lens of the light faces partially upward, which would mean I'd have to see a blinking white light during my ride.Stumbled across a light that mounts on the front of the bars instead of on the top, and this looked like a better solution for my needs, though it looked just a bit too big. More searching yielded the Cycle Torch Bolt, and I think it's pretty much perfect. As others have stated, these lights are best used as "please don't pull out in front of me or hit me from behind" safety/marker lights as opposed to "I need to see where I'm going at night" lights.I actually didn't intend to use this tail light at all, as I use a seat bag and already have a light that clips to it. But I found that the rubber band included with the Cycle Torch Bolt makes it suitable to mount to the bag's attachment point, and because it's rechargeable (existing light uses AAA batteries), I'm going to go ahead and use it.A few minor nitpicks. It's very easy to turn on (just push the lens to cycle through the modes/off). But that also makes almost a given that you're going to accidentally turn it on when you're mounting it. Not a big deal, just a small annoyance. Slightly more significant is the apparent lack of a low battery indication. There's a "low voltage shutoff" feature that simply turns it off when the battery level drops to a dangerously low level, but it would be nice to have some kind of way to know that the battery is getting low before that happens. With my old light, an orange LED on the top would illuminate when the battery was low, so if I saw that during a ride, I'd know that I needed to go ahead and bring it in to recharge (but it would typically still keep working long enough to complete that ride). With the Cycle Torch, I'll just have to remember to be more proactive about charging, doing it once every few weeks or so.

Work great!
Both my teenage kids have a set of these and love them. They work great and give me peace of mind. The first set is more than 2 years old and going strong!

Great Product
I purchased one to try and liked it so much I ordered 2 more for my other bikes.Like the fact you can screw them off to charge. No need to take the unit of the silicone mount straps.

Poor battery life
Nice aesthetics but not the best battery life compared to other bike lights I’ve owned.
