The media could not be loaded.  Very easy to assemble. Such an attractive light gives the right amount of brightness to the area I purchased it for.When reading the reviews for this lamp, several complained about the screws not working or parts missing. The first thing you should do when assembling anything is to review the parts list against what is inside the box and make sure you have everything you need. They even included a bag of spare parts in my box.The thicker shelf is your bottom piece. Connect four poles with the screws that are provided. Cover the screws with the black padded covers. Insert a bolt into the top of the pole, slide a shelf over it, and connect the next layer of poles by screwing them onto the bolt. Repeat this step for the next layer. Add the top shelf that includes the cord and bulb by using four screws to secure it to the top of the poles. Thread the pull chain through the hole and secure the cord/socket by tightening the wingnut. Thread the cord down the backside of a pole, using the clips to secure it in place. Open the shade and clip the socket frame into place on the shade. Slide the frame over the socket and screw in the bulb.You cannot place much weight on these shelves. If you do, it can become top-heavy and fall over.

Not the most sturdy, but easy to assemble and sleek. Do not over tighten the legs. I broke the veneer off of one leg by tightening it too much, but once everything was put together, it didn't show. I love that it comes with clips to tighten down the cord. Great buy!

I wish the instructions were printed larger. It makes it hard to see the diagrams. Also, the instructions refer to 2 metal rings, but only one is in the package. We returned one lamp thinking a part was missing. The send one was missing a ring too, but after really looking at the shade, I saw that it is reinforced at one end with metal sewn into the shade itself; therefore a 2nd ring isn't necessary to help it hold its shape. If the instructions were accurate, we wouldn't have wasted resources and time returning the first one. All that aside, it's a great looking lamp. We are using the shelves for plants. I love the 3 light settings. It's in our office so having the cool light is great for dark mornings and evenings when we still need to be productive. The warm setting is perfect for after hours.

Very good lamp everything includedInstructions are decently clear though the parts are not labeled so you have to match it with the picture there are few pieces so it's not much of an issue it's very simple.Clear light with 3 settings is very nice.6lb weight capacity per shelf due to fall over risk Incase anyone is wondering it's on a warning sign under each shelf but I'm sure you could put up to 10lbs on them.

great lamp n great shelves for knick knacks

Some of the screws they provide will not thread into the poles. I tried reaching out to the seller and no response whatsoever. Amazon customer service gave me a refund, but they couldn’t provide me the two replacement screws I needed to finish the piece. So, unless you get lucky with the batch of screws/parts that you get, or have time to go get spare parts from a different store, I wouldn’t recommend buying this piece. It’s disappointing, because if I had gotten working screws, I would have likely rated it 5 stars.Given how inexpensive of a piece it was, I’m not surprised in the quality of parts, but definitely would have appreciated some sort of resolution other than me just being stuck with a half-finished shelf.
