"A compulsive middle grade thriller." -- Book Riot The email arrives Sunday night: Do exactly what I say, when I say it, or I will reveal your secret. On Monday morning, seventh graders Owen, Gemma, Ally, and Todd, who have nothing in common and barely know each other, must work together and follow the instructions of an anonymous blackmailer. None of them want to go along with the blackmailer's strange instructions, but each of them have a secret they must protect at all costs. Set during a single day of school, the students race against the clock to complete a unsettling list of tasks. They'll do whatever it takes to keep their secrets hidden . . . but when they discover what the blackmailer has in mind, they realize things may have just gone too far. Can they put a stop to the plan, or is it too late? Review: Great for PreTeens! - I Know Your Secret from the Secrets and Lies series was another great find! I bought it for a preteen, and it’s a perfect fit for that age group. It keeps readers interested with mystery and drama without being too intense. If they enjoyed others in the series, they’ll definitely like this one too! Review: great book - I really liked this book. I feel like I could relate on a lot of the things the protagonists were going through. Some of there problems were larger then others and I liked that diversity. Overall I thought the author did a great job portraying all the emotions.

A great Book
An expected plot twist with some heart touching moments. It shows how scary the real world is and the lengths people will go to for power and recognition. A 4 because Expected blackmailer but funny yet suspenseful storyline.

A Must-Read Middle-Grade Thriller!!
Imagine you're a middle schooler. With a secret. And this anonymous email lands in your inbox on Sunday evening: "I know your secret. Do what I say, when I say it, and I won't tell a soul. Skip even one step and I will tell everyone....get ready for tomorrow. It's going to be a very big day." YIKES! This is what happens to Owen, Gemma, Ally and Todd in I KNOW YOUR SECRET. The four students know of each other, but aren't friends. Now, they have something huge in common; they each have a personal secret they'd like to keep, well, secret. So, the four work feverishly together to carry out the blackmailer's timed instructions. And to figure out the blackmailer's identity. This book is fast paced and beautifully plotted. Nice twist at the end. The secrets are appropriately middle grade. Yay. Added bonus: There's going to be a second book! Verdict: Highly recommended

this was a really good book
What I liked about it was the plot twist at the end. I would recommend this book to my sister Taylor. I gave this 5 stars because it was a very compelling story and I couldn’t wait to see each chapter.
