Good video quality, low latency
I got this after returning another product that didn't meet my needs. I tried another more highly rated HDMI remote adapter and was dissappointed when the asdapter stopped working after turning the TV off then back on again. Only by manually pulling the power of the old HDMI receiver would it come back. This one did not have that problem. Connecting was easy. There are very detailed instructions that pop up on screen which is smart because we all lose (or throw away) those little manuals. So it's nice to know there are reset instructions if needed.Screen display had maybe a 0.03 second lag, but it was barely noticeable. Screen was bright and vivid with the full 1080 (all the TV was capable of that I was using...so no 4K testing available). I powered everything off and bootted it back up. It takes a little longer than the other HDMI adapter to establish an initial connection (just under 10 seconds), but that was a minor issue. If I plug in the transmitter, it stays on and there is no delay so it's just a matter of preference if you want the TX adapter to power on with the PC or stay powered on so you can see the bootup sequence.Overall, very happy with this purchase. Would recommend.

NOT FOR GAMERS
I purchased this to stream my Xbox to my TV. First, it comes in nice packaging. But from there it goes downhill. The instructions aren’t super clear, but I did finally figure out I had the transmitter and receiver flipped. Note that one image on Amazon it shows the smaller device as the receiver and bigger WiFi looking thing as transmission. Unfortunately for those big on form factor this is incorrect and it’s the other way around. Nope you can’t hide the cute little dongle thing conveniently behind the tv, although the actual receiver can be hidden behind with some finesse. Although I wouldn’t recommend this as it may hurt the reception. Once you have it all connected properly you’ll get a nice blue screen telling you to re-pair to override the factory setting. Doing this will net no results. You’ll get “pair ok” and then the same blue screen again. From there you may try and try again to no success. You’ll look for a tech support website or email. There is none. If you then miraculously get the intended picture and leap in excitement you’ll be greatly dissatisfied with the results. The picture quality is fine. But the image transmission rate is very lacking. It constantly feels a second behind for gaming and the lag shows on screen with a stuttering of play. Compared to the other option of Apple TV app OneCast which also isn’t perfect it’s a much cheaper option. In the end. This isn’t a great buy because of hard to understand instructions, not working for pairing, and not great for games. For PC I didn’t test. I don’t suggest this.

Works as Advertised
Comes with reasonable instructions. Connect the receiver and the instructions for the rest of the system show up on the screen - very convenient. I use it to see and share pictures from my phone and camera in a motel room when on vacation. The phone connects directly to the receiver through it's own Wi-Fi or through the transmitter by hardwire which is very convenient. Camera connects by hardwire. Both work well, but take 5 - 10 seconds to connect (not a big issue, you just have to get used to it). Can't seem to send Netflix from the phone to the TV with this device. This was disappointing dropped my rating to 4 Stars.

Unset
Sometimes it unset and shows a blue screen, but you can reset and have everything back as normal.

Literally "Plug-N-Play" and works well!
This Wireless HDMI Adapter performed flawlessly when I first plugged it in, and was literally “plug and play”. It has allowed me to easily connect my entertainment center console with my television. It does take about 10-15 seconds for the transmitter and receiver to sync up when power is first applied to each. Because I'm drawing from USB ports on my entertainment center and my television, when these devices are shut off, power cuts out to the HDMI transmitter and receiver, but they do automatically come on and sync up when power is restored...but again, it takes about 15 seconds. BTW - I have been able to locate the HDMI receiver behind my wide-screen LED TV mounted on the wall, and the reception is still fine.

Works Perfectly
This wireless HDMI kit is easy to install and really is plug and play. Both the transmitter and receiver are well designed and have a nice solid build quality. I purchased this unit to replace an IOGear that was connected between a hidden security camera DVR and a monitor that is separated by two walls and a distance of 50ft. So far, I have not experienced any latency issues and the signal is strong. The image is very crisp and clear as well. The low price on this kit is also a huge plus.

Unreliable.
When it works, it's great. Unfortunately, as this is for a home security system, it's reliability is poor, at best. Some times the TX hangs or quits operating and sometimes it's the receiver. When either fail, you have to cycle power to get it to work again.
