Remarkable 2 10.3 inch Digital Paper Case (2020 Released), Slim Lightweight Book Folios Cover for Tablet 10.3 inch with Pen Holder/Hand Strap/Elastic Strap/Multi-Viewing Angles (Black)

Ok, if you want the case to function as a stand using the steeper angle they advertise, realize that portrait mode will be upside down (pics 1 & 3), unless you insert the rM2 into the case upside down. Which is dumb. The shallower angle works great (pic 2). And there is a workaround for the steeper angle, but it relies on the case leaning back on a fold in the front flap and balancing the bottom of the tablet case and the very edge of the front flap, which seems precarious (pic 4). Also, there is no vertical stand option, which is dumb for a primarily vertical device.HOWEVER. I am a big design snob and never wanted anything other than the OG, reMarkable company-manufactured book folio case, which is soooo perfectly crafted and fits the tablet soooo sleekly and sexily so that you can see all of the front of the device in its naked glopry. But after 2.5 years of treating it like a princess, I finally got hummus oil all over mine and went looking for something cheaper. I tried another book folio case that was lauded as being as thin and show-offy as the brand version -- but the edges stuck out, interfering with the pen being able to adhere to the magnet on the edge of the device, boo hiss, return-o-matic. Feeling out of options, I went for this one. It looked sturdy and more food-resistant. I got a used one ("unopened" but it had a few traces of filth and grode, so I know it was in fact opened and tested by some greasy-fingered shlub) and I am surprised how much I like it after a few cleaning wipes. I don't feel like I have to be nearly so cautious handling or bagging the device. The thickness makes it feel more substantial without adding much weight at all. My device feels secure, and I use both the pen loop and the pen pocket at the same time for an extra stylus and without it adding bulk either (though the magnet is uninterrupted by the case so you could ignore both pen-holding options for that, which would matter to me if I still had the OG rM pen). I was worried that having to insert the rM into a case "frame" would offend my eyes after the simple magnet design of the rM folio, but actually I think it is very handsome this way, and there is no real reason you need the white frame of the device to be fully exposed. Again, it feels like the screen is protected without making it look chonky (pic 6)What I really love that I never thought I would use or want is (1) the elastic band, which holds the case closed in a satisfying way, not that it falls open without it but it's kind of ritualistically pleasing to use at the end of a productive session, if that makes sense? It adds to that secure, substantial feeling. And (2) the smaller stretch band on the inside of the front flap. When you fold the flap back and secure it with that smashing elastic band (pic 5), everything lies very nice and flat and you can actually hold the device quite comfortably with the left hand and use gestures or your pen with the right (sorry, nefarious lefties, maybe there's one out there for you, too).

I absolutely love this case for my Remarkable 2 tablet. It's sleek, lightweight, and offers excellent protection without adding bulk. The built-in pen holder is a game-changer, ensuring I never misplace my stylus. The hand strap and elastic strap provide added security when carrying it around the warehouse. Plus, the multi-viewing angles make it versatile for various tasks. Overall, a must-have accessory for Remarkable 2 owners!

Fantastic, use it all the time.Its thinker so by the time your write at the bottom of the screen it gets awkward. Taking the device out is much more comfortable. Magnets on the right side disrupt accuracy of writing just barely on the edge there. When your writing and your going for squeezing one more word in before starting another line and your letters go screwy, is a bit frustrating.Its sturdy, easy to transport, easy to use, lightweight. And for the most part very well designed.

I have been using this item daily since I purchased it about six weeks ago. I love my reMarkable tablet and I feel very secure and comfortable carrying it around in this case.I couldn’t bring myself to spend over $100 on a case from the reMarkable folks and quickly decided to try this one.I particularly like how easy it is to slide the pen into the holder. And it holds the pen securely and does not come unless you want it to. .One of my coworkers loved mine so much that she bought one for herself.

I like to take my remarkable 2 with me when I travel - and I have a busy household when home with pets and kids. There are two key advantages to this case over the book folio sold by remarkable.1.) This case is thicker and more protective.2.) This case has a very solid pen holder, but still accommodates the magnetic capabilities too.I feel certain I will NOT lose my pen when traveling now. That had been a serious concern on trips prior to this purchase.I would recommend this to anyone with a remarkable 2 tablet!

I'm an attorney and I recently purchased a ReMarkable 2 (GAME CHANGER- but that's a different review) I needed a folio that was tough and could withstand being lugged to, and around, various courts and jails all day. This fits the bill. It is sturdy and still nice looking. My favorite feature though, is that it has a holster for the stylus on the ReMarkable. Otherwise the stylus just "clicks" on by magnet to the tablet, this holster keeps the stylus from getting knocked off and down into the abyss of my bag.I recommend this folio without reservation.

My Remarkable fit perfectly and I use the straps to hold it when using it in the field. I like the security of knowing the pen is attached well and won’t fall out as well. Great value and a great price compared to the option available from Remarkable.

Ok, I really hate writing negative reviews, but I searched for days to find a cover for my newest (2nd to replace my damaged 1st) Remarkable 2. I really love this thing and find new uses for it every day. BUT, the cover I had purchased for my old one did not protect the power button that crushed when it was accidentally dropped. I was hoping this cover would do a great job of protecting that corner. It was a little better at coverage, but sadly it covers TOO much of the screen...the reason to even have a Remarkable. So, I could not even use it. I am currently simply using a different protective sleeve and taking great care when I remove the sleevectually to access the device. I hope to find something the works at some point.Short version? I do NOT recommend this cover for this device.
