L’Oréal Paris Makeup Infallible Blend Artist Makeup Blender Sponge, 0.8 oz

This is my favorite makeup sponge, I honestly like it just as much as the beauty blender and this comes in at such a better price. I also prefer this over the real techniques sponges (those have a great texture and can be found even cheaper when the combo packs go on sale, but they irritate my skin somehow), and I also do prefer this over any of the many other brands' beauty blender style sponges I've tried. The L'Oreal one looks like maybe it won't be soft enough at first, but when you add water it definitely does expand quite a bit and get softer, and (most importantly) it applies various types of foundation, concealer, and other liquid products really well when damp. It also can handle quite a few deep cleanings before it starts developing small tears, as long as you're mindful of your fingernails. It's definitely worth trying one at the amazon price.

Great Price, Great Quality

This just feels quality foam, and I find the shape easy to hold, easy to maneuver to blend with - the most favorite makeup sponge I have ever used!

This sponge is just the right combination of soft and firm. One of my favorite sponges is by Ecotools, and I think this one beats that. The Loreal sponge seems to absorb a lot less product. The one problem I have is that after just a month of using this sponge about 3x a week, the bottom part (the side I use the most) has started to “shed” little bits of sponge, which means I end up with tiny pink bits on my face when I use it. I wash it (by rubbing the stained spots with a bar of soap) every time I use it, which probably contributed to the quick degradation. However, I have used many other budget sponges that I washed just as frequently and in this same manner, and they did not degrade this fast. So, while I think that this is the perfect sponge for me, I don’t think it’s economical since it isn’t as durable as other sponges. Even the Ecotools one lasts up to 3 months before it starts to fall apart, and even then, it doesn’t shed—it’s just more prone to tearing. Would I buy this again? Maybe, if I can’t find another sponge that works just as well as this does.

This sponge is better than I expected it to be! When I use it, I run it under water and then squeeze out the excess so it is not soaking wet, but damp. And it does expand quite a bit as well once damp. I feel like it is softer and has more bounce than my real techniques sponge, but I would say that they blend the same (I am actually preferring this one as of now). I use this sponge for my foundation and concealer, and it works great. I wash it after every use, and have had no problem with it tearing or anything like that. For a drugstore sponge, it has held up better than I thought it would. Glad I gave it a try!

This sponge is my favorite of all the sponges that I’ve tried (and there’s a whole lot of them)! I’m a makeup artist, so when looking for a quality sponge, I was buying the original beauty blender for $20 EACH. An influencer I follow on social media said she loved this sponge and when I saw it was under $10, I jumped at the suggestion, I never looked back! It’s definitely as soft (if not softer!) to the beauty blender and I love the shape; I feel it’s easier to hold. I like this over the BeautyBlender personally. Super soft and bouncy but not so soft that they fall apart after a few washes like the Real Technique sponge. They clean so easily! With the RT sponge, I felt like I never got all the makeup out no matter how well I washed, but these clean like a dream and can withstand so many washes without losing pieces or quality. Good stuff if you're looking for an affordable, quality blending sponge.

Overall, this is a good beauty blender, it is moderately soft, applies the foundation very well and nicely. I was extremely happy with it until the first wash... I have purchased this blender two times, and both of them cracked after the first wash. But because it is very hard to find a good beauty blender, I think I will purchase this item again in the future, especially when it is really good for the price.
