Good read
I really enjoyed this book...I had guessed early on who the kidnapper was but it was still a really good read.

Good plot, good read
Could’ve done with making the basement a whole lot scarier but that’s my only qualm about the story, oh and a tad predictable suspect

Obvious
From the beginning it was obvious who the bad guy was and lots of typos throughout the book.Storyline was good, however I only finished the book to conclude that I knew what would happen.

So bad
I couldn’t get past 20%. I skipped to the end and my suspicions were correct. Her son is missing, her brother has been stabbed and she is making goo goo eyes at the Police Officer! What?!Her mother doesn’t care and just wants to go to work. A whole chapter of them hissing at each other like feral cats. Her mother doesn’t seem to care less about her missing grandson or the trauma her daughter has gone through. Not to mention her son who might not survive his injuries!A “friend” who is family but not related but the neighbours son but... who is he?!? He is moody, nasty and pushing his look with Annabeth. A totally unbelievable character. Doesn’t seem to really care her son is missing and doesn’t seem overly concerned. She just wants a nap!So bad I couldn’t read it.
