does anyone carry a kindle in the back zippered pocket? or if anyone has a kindle they could throw in there to see if it fits i'd really appreciate it

Dude, It was difficult to fit a text book in there.... It's not the width of the item (A 2 in or 1 inch binder doesn't matter) If it's more than 8 1/2 inches... It won't fit in the bag... good luck...

Materials? It's made of canvas is about all I know of the construction. My daughter still uses the bag more than her other bags.
