Dooney & Bourke Handbag, Pebble Grain Medium Mail Satchel

If you plan to use the bag as a crossbody you might want to think twice before purchasing it. The strap is very short and the bag does not lay in the right spot it sits too high up which makes it uncomfortable not to mention awkward looking. Even before anything is placed inside the bag it’s extremely heavy and once filled it’s even heavier and I carry very little. I’ve never had a bag so heavy while empty. I asked my husband what he thought of it and as he held back a laugh he said it looks like a bowling bag! I’m still keeping it though because I plan to use it as a satchel, the price was right, the quality is nice, it is leather and I know I’ll get lots of use out of it. ****EDIT TO ADD**** Almost a year later since I purchased the bag and I must say….i love this bag! I use it just about every day. The leather is beautiful and while at first I did find it heavy but I’ve gotten used to it. Top quality!

Lovely bag, well made. I particularly like the fact that the sides are rigid and the zipper goes all around, making it easier to find the item you need inside the bag. The size is just right - not too big, not too small. The soft ivory color is nice for year-round wear. The only comment I have is that the trim appeared burgundy on my monitor, but in reality it's brown. I have not actually used the purse yet, so I can't comment on how it wears, but so far very happy (and I am not easy to please).

This was a Christmas gift for my sister, she loves it. She constantly gets compliments on it. Would make a high quality gift for someone you care about.

My favorite style handbag. I four. When the season changes, I change my bad. Everything from one bag goes into the same place as before. I strive on this kind of organization. Plus the bad looks great and is very sturdy.

October 1st, so I switched to this D and B Zip Zip (in Midnight Blue) to carry through fall and winter. (Have been carrying a natural color Zip Zip through spring and summer). The thing I like about the Zip Zip...above all the other cute D and B bags...is that the Zip Zip always holds it's shape and stands where you set it. It stays looking neat and smart. The Zip Zip is easy to see into when opened so not frantic digging around to find what's needed. It's a good size to hold billfold, glasses case, phone, make up bag and more. So many great colors too!

Literally the best purse I’ve ever had! Very nicely made!! 4 stars was only due to some loose threading that might eventually be problematic.

I love this Dooney. I get more compliments on it than any other bag. Perfect size and has plenty of organizational pockets. Strap works for cross body or over shoulder.

Definitely, this is my must have handbag and it comes in so many colors to choose from. It's perfect. I purchased my first one, loved it so much that I had to buy another in a different color, and admit I would like to buy more! Really, this is a beautiful handbag and a favorite!!! Thank you. P.S. thanks for including the inside strap to hold my keys, as I won't lose my keys (since the keys attach nicely to the strap.)
