Hudson Women's Barbara High Rise, Straight Ankle Pant

Fits as sized. Looks great. I am 5” 2” 120lbs and they fit perfect. Super comfortable too.

I’m in love. These are so perfect and surprisingly fit perfectly on my petite stature. I’m usually a 00-0 in jeans and decided to take the risk of ordering size 26 because I needed them ASAP. And the fit so well!! Not super tight, nor baggy, compliments my back side. And beautiful quality. At $117, the most I’ve ever spent on jeans but better than Nordstrom’s price of $200+. I didn’t hesitate to buy these when I saw Amazon had them for a better price. So happy I went with these. Will share photos soon.

Unfortunately I can't give these 5 stars, even though I wanted to love them. They're "stretch" jeans, and so I really should have paid more attention when ordering. The stretch fit for me means that they fit great when I first put them on, but after a couple of hours, they're baggy in the knees, and eventually in the waist as well. They're perfect for Thanksgiving day when you need that stretch after dinner (or at least I do and I'll admit it, lol), but not my favorite for every day wear. This is my first pair of Hudson jeans and I'd wanted a pair for years, so I was really excited to find them for only around fifty bucks, but the excitement soon wore off. I did decide to keep them because my weight fluctuates a lot (I have a type of thyroid disease), but they aren't the perfect, best pair of jeans ever that I was so hoping for. If you like stretchy jeans then these are great, but if you're like me and you prefer a tighter fight with thicker denim, I guess I should say, then these aren't going to be your most favorite. I should also mention that my legs are much thinner than my waist (as a kid people called me "chicken legs" because my legs were so skinny). You'd think this would be a good thing, but when it comes to clothes, and especially jeans, the fit can be tricky. Tight in the waist but loose in the legs. That's why I opt for skinny leg jeans, but these have that stretch that make them loose the skinny fit after some wear. Overall, if I saw them for that price again, I'd still order them because I know they'll last, and if I gain a few more pounds I know they'll still fit. So I'm glad to have them in my closet and I do wear them sometimes, but I'm still looking for a new favorite pair. For reference, I'm 5' 6" and I weigh around 135 pounds. I weighed closer to 130 pounds when I first got them and they were loose, but fit better now. I've always heard that Hudson jeans run a bit on the large side, and I'd say this is definitely true for these as well (strerch-factor aside). I ordered a size 28 and while they do fit I would most likely order a size 27 (again, my weight fluctuates and I'm on the heavier side of the scale now, but normally I'm closer to 125 - 130 pounds).

These are literally the only jeans I buy anymore. I have four colourways. They hug my butt and my hips while still managing to be the proper length. They hold their shape for at least a week between washes, if not two. These were my go to jeans working in a classroom with kids because they still looked professional while being comfortable. They’re now my everyday jeans as a mom and make it so easy to be comfortable and stylish. They can be dressed up or dressed down. I have 3 different pair hanging in my closet right now that I have owned for 5+ years and still wear often. I managed to get these on an insane sale ($40!!) and my package got lost in the mail. I was understandably upset but continued to wait, but before I even had to reach out to them myself, amazon reached out to me and replaced the package. I got new jeans and an amazing price and had wonderful customer service.

So these are not ankle as stated. Even the tag states "Barbara high rise skinny" it does not say ankle anywhere. The description needs to be changed. I measure the inseam as 34 inches! NOT ANKLE. I am 5"3 so they looked ridiculous! Also they are enormous! I am a true size 26, or size 2 in other hudsons. and these were so larege I could have sized down to a 24....a size I have never purchased in my life! so way too long and way too large!! Please uprate description. These are full length jeans

Very lovely jeans. In love with the wash very dark blue. Fits as described, is not small or big. The inseam is as described. The fabric is more of a jegging type but is stretchy and very comfortable

The color on these (Inked Pitch) was nowhere near as dark as pictured--more of a faded darkish gray, but definitely not inky or as close to black as it appears in the images, which I was looking for. I own half a dozen Barbara skinny high rises and for some reason this pair was at least 3" shorter than the others I have in the same size, 27. (Although listed as the same length.) Too short for my taste and with that and the inaccurate color, not worth the $200, so I returned them. Otherwise they fit well and are quality Hudsons, although sizing isn't always consistent in the Barbara in my experience, and I (5'4", 125-135 lbs) have pairs in sizes 25, 26 and 27. I reordered the Barbara in Requiem dark blue (half off, on sale) and they fit like a glove, perfect length, thickness, flattering color although the dark indigo dye bleeds a bit even after washing. (Wash inside out, and separately.) I try multiple other brands and styles but year after year, I return to Hudson and the Barbara.

True to fit. Quite tight fitting but it stretches enough to fit. These are more like thick leggings. The coated fabric is not breathable enough for me though, which is what one would expect of this type of material unfortunately, I thought this would be the exception. The front pockets are fake/faux pockets. The look of the fabric is semi-glittery and does not give a leather-like appearance.
