I bought this to place "over" my bed after making it in the morning. I have a smart-alec cat that gets his whiskers bent out of shape every now and again and decides to punish me by peeing on my comforter.This waterproof mattress cover is light weight, thin, and does a good job of not leaking through to the covers. Easy to wash and hasn't shrunk, though I've only had to wash it once.

This is a great size that you can use on any sized bed, really. It is definitely waterproof! I am using this because my 21 month old still sleeps with us and sometimes has an accident at night. This is big enough that it doesn't roll up or shift when he is sleeping on it. It washes easily and dries quickly. The only reason I am giving it four and not five stars is because the top material is kind of scratchy. It may get softer after several washings, but right now I use it UNDER the sheets to protect my mattress. However, I have very sensitive skin, so I just may be more aware of textures than other people. I did receive a discount code to purchase this sheet protector, but at regular price, this is a good value for the size and thickness.
