Fantastic Value
This is the second time I've ordered this product. The first one lasted me around 5 years even with me not caring for it like you're supposed to (using it on dirty fur and not cleaning and oiling regularly between uses). For the price, you can't beat this, honestly. If it stays in the same price range, this will be what I continue to get as long as I have long haired dogs.

Happily Surprised
The media could not be loaded. The video makes the finished product look like a mess…but I am beyond pleased. Tavi is a stray cat that has adopted me. Over the past year, she developed mats that just kept getting thicker and thicker. She must have had at least 4 really big ones all along her spine that were pulling on the skin. I didn’t want to traumatize her by bringing her to a vet. I called a mobile groomer, but even that didn’t seem ideal. Tavi trusts me…so I thought I’ll try these clippers. I was hopeful but so skeptical and fearful. Would I hurt her? Would she hurt me? Would it work? I set the fine tuning ring on #2, brought out some food…and said some prayers. For a few days before, I’d bring out the clippers and turn them on so she could get used to the sound (definitely not very noisy…just buzzing). Sniff them, etc. I set out the food and went to work. I had to slowly work on each mat (in the direction of hair growth) right up against the skin. Slowly slowly , one mat, then another and another. She purred the whole time😱. The one closest to her tail was really sensitive so we had to stop and start 3 times. And also to let the blade cool down. Finally…all mats are gone. Seemed like forever…but in reality maybe 8-12 minutes (aside from the stop/start) ? I’m shocked and surprised and so grateful. She’ll be so much more comfortable now. I’m very proud of her. And I am so pleased with the Enjoy Pet clippers that did exactly what they were supposed to do!!!! Hopefully I’ll never have to do it again (more brushing sessions ahead). But if I do…Yea, Enjoy Pet!!! Success!

Worked well for thick hair and held charge
I'll be honest, I was pretty skeptical of this set of dog clippers and didn't think it would work well. Our dog is a corgi/terrier mix with a lot of thick long hair and it's a pain to cut. We typically pay someone to do it, but he is in doggy jail for being a bit too aggressive with the groomer (he hates it when I cut his hair as well and likes to growl). So that meant I had to break down and give him another haircut. The trimmers we've been using for the past few years are wired ones of a popular brand and they were becoming really dull and causing me to spend 2 hours cutting our dog's hair, not to mention they got really hot. So I decided to buy some new ones and was hoping to find some that could cut through his thick hair easily, hold a charge and not get hot.Well, again, I was skeptical about these - it wasn't very loud at all and that made me think it wasn't going to work well. But the first time I pushed it through his hair, it actually cut his hair with ease, much to my surprise. The attachment that left the longest length worked better than the shorter length one on the other brand, so that was impressive. It did seem as though it wasn't going to cut several times and I had to make a few passes. I don't know if that was because I was holding them incorrectly or if it decided it didn't want to cut at that moment. But for the most part, I'm happy with them. I was able to cut his hair in only an hour, so I cut it in half - would have been faster had he cooperated and not growled at me when I tried to cut certain spots. But the cut did look the best of all I've done in the past. And the charge lasted for that hour, so no complaints with the battery. For the price, it's a good value. If you have a dog with thinner hair, you won't have any issues. But if your dog has thick hair like a corgi, then these should work for you since they are heavier duty than most value-priced clippers.

Razor charger
I used it once. Worked good but now it doesn't charge up. Good razor if it would charge.

Awesome clippers for an alternate purpose
I hesitated to write this review because I used these clippers for a wholly unintended purpose. If you're considering purchasing this item to groom your pets, don't read any further as I used the clippers on furniture. My cats practically destroyed the upholstery on my dining room chairs. (See the first two photos.) I chose a sturdy fabric ( a striped Paul Smith Maharam) but there's almost nothing that stands up to their claws. In the past I've painstaking trimmed the threads with a nail scissors which took about 4 hours for 6 chairs, then covered them with plastic which looks so disappointingly ugly after spending plenty on reupholstering the chairs (and just about everything in the house that the cats have shredded). This Thanksgiving we removed the plastic covers and left them off until after Christmas and the chairs were shredded again. I searched for an upholstery tool to shave the threads but there's no such tool available. I bought a lint shaver but it doesn't cut through threads. So I took a chance on these animal clippers after reading the excellent reviews. All I can say is, it worked incredibly well. I used the narrowest setting (which the clippers were already set to) and, using a steady hand and no guard, started shaving with relatively firm pressure. Even the tiniest threads were removed. No holes or nicks in the fabric. I used an upholstery brush (purchased on Amazon) to remove the shaved lint and threads. The chairs look great. The clippers also shaved some of the nap but that couldn't be helped. Unfortunately we have to keep the chairs covered when not in use but when we have company, we can simply remove and store the plastic covers and replace them when the company leaves. For those of you who are wondering why we don't just clip our cats' claws, we do try but the cats hate it so I've resorted to having them professionally groomed. Unfortunately their claws grow back to shredding stage within two weeks. This is the best solution I've come up with. BTW I learned the hard way that the one fabric that is truly immune to cat claws is Perennials Plushy (velvet). I upholstered a sofa and a chair with Perennials Plushy and they look as perfect as the day I got them. Warning: I would not try this on a delicate fabric.
