Love this bible for my daughter. Attractive pictures and the leather binding is slick. Love the colors too. She immediately started thumbing through her new bible.

Bought this Bible for my 5 year old daughter. She loves all the pictures and fun facts in the book. My husband and I really loved the idea of the App for her because she was so young and cant read it all by herself. We thought at least she would be able to see the stories come to life on the app. Not true. Once we downloaded the app it would not scan it at all. We went to the play store thinking maybe we might have installed it wrong but then found the reviewers for the app had the same problems as us. So if you are like me and my husband and purchased this book for the app I would think twice. We love this bible even if the app doesn't work. The Bible is still done really well and keeps my daughters interest when I read it to her.

We really enjoy this bible! I bought it for my 7 year old, and I love that it actually uses the English rendering of the personal name of our Heavenly Father "Yahweh" in many places, which really surprised me for a children's bible. It has great conversation starters and helps guide the biblical learning process well. My only complaint is like many others and is regarding the iPhone app. It is really not made well. In order to connect to the bible app stories you have to use your iPhone or Tablet camera and line it up perfectly with the symbol on the story page. This is not easily executed for my daughter or myself, and I am considered by most to be more technologically advanced than the average person. Once you are able to get the story to pop up on your app, it's a complete juggling act to get it to stay connected. If you move the iPhone or other device even the slightest bit the story cuts off completely and it becomes an unworthy challenge to try an re-connect. Like other parents, this feature contributed greatly to my purchase of the product, so I would like to see the developers fix this issue. I did not return the product, because it is still a great bible with or without the app, but not having that feature is a bit of a disappointment. If you purchase this bible just be prepared to enjoy it without the interactive app.

Not a KJ Version. App works “ok”. Scripture seems true from KJV conversion. Good to 8-13 years olds bible study.
