It is a charcoal basket you can use in your kamado. Not much more to say, the divider is functional, and it was WAY better constructed than I was expecting. Filled with charcoal and let 'er go, no problems to report. Makes cleaning up the unused charcoal easy, now its the default setting. Also seemed to keep the charcoal burning forever, but because I could remove it, it made putting the grill away and not waiting until midnight a new reality.

Very impressed with how well this worked. I thought it looked too small when I set it inside my egg but it was perfect and gel all the charcoal needed.

I had to bend the handles inward so it's easier to lift the basket up to shake it. But it cleans the smaller pieces of ash and unused charcoal very well. It's a perfect fit in my large green egg.

Fits the large BGE firebox in diameter and angle. It is slightly larger than the Kick Ash basket I am replacing. The ears used to pick it up end up against the ceramic sides making it difficult to get a hold of to shake ash off. I simply bent the ears inward a bit so I can grab it easily from both sides By the way, it is heavy gauge stainless steel (non magnetic) and the fit and finish is better than expected.

Dividing the charcoal basket in half helps me with indirect cooking by only filling the indirect side of the charcoal basket with fuel.

My husband loves this for easy clean up of the ash. We’ve bought this for our friends as gifts!

Die Lieferung lief zügig und reibungslos ab. der Kohlekorb macht einen guten Eindruck und scheinen von guter Qualität zu sein. Die Schraube für die Befestigung des Trenngitters ist etwas zu lang. Die müsste man kürzen. Ansonsten gerne wieder.

This basket is great for the Kamado Joe Classic. My only criticism is that the divider in the centre should slide into a channel and not screw into the bottom. The screw gets covered in juices etc. and the screw hets gummed up.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this basket. Heave duty and very well constructed. I kind of expected thin steel rod that would burn out in a season. This is very heavy and seems like it will last a long time. Really helps keep the airflow and burns the coals more completely and evenly. I would recommend.
