44 Pin IDE to 7 + 15 Pin SATA Motherboard Adapter

This does work, but on my HP ThinClient it didn't allow the built-in HP drive activity LED to light. (Even on this adapter, as well)I suspect the one on this board may be not needed, and it's 'loading down' the voltage or signal to the built-in drive activity LED on the ThinClient. I'm going to try removing the resistor and or LED on this adapter when I have the chance, to test that theory. :)Otherwise, it works well, even with a 1TB western digital 2.5 inch SATA II drive, from the IDE connector of the T5730 ThinClient.Oh, by the way... The company Micro SATA Cables is a nice place to buy from.When the LED didn't work, they sent another one to see if there was a defect on the first.When the second did the same, they let me keep both, and refunded my entire original purchase costs.

great product does as intended and would recommend to anyone need such devive helps redoing older laptops

Fast delivery, the product seems to be what I wanted but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I will leave additional feedback after it has been used a while.

Good. The form factor can fit into the notebook with some part extended out of the machine. But market avaiable Sata HDD can be used.
