I write in it nightly with a water-based dye ink pen or a gel ballpoint pen, and the inks never bleed through the pages. Each 2-page spread covers one week with 7 write-in date fields. There are 52 of these 2-page spreads, so this journal is perfect to last you the full 52 weeks of a year if you want to use it daily. It has room for 364 days of entries, for those of you counting. If you don't care about using it daily, that works, too, as you can write in your own dates. I really appreciate the flexibility to be able to start it any day of the year, miss a day if I want, and to be able to use it for a whole year. I also love that I can fit a whole week of gratitude on each 2-page spread. After combing through dozens and dozens of gratitude journals, I finally found the perfect journal that suited my situation. Many journals have complex pages for documenting feelings, memories, goals, etc. in addition to gratitude each day. However, I was simply looking for something simply to add to a morning practice I have already established. This journal is perfect! Each spread has enough space to express gratitude each day for a week, and the journal has inspiring, relevant quotes and messages sprinkled throughout the pages.In addition, the aesthetic of this book completely resonates with the simplicity of its purpose. I love that the cover is a simply grey with the word "gratitude" in gold along the side with a silk bookmark to easily flip to my current week of gratitude. Each page is designed with enough graphics/text to be interesting but there is lots of white space to prevent overwhelm and make the true focus of this book the words you write on the page-- your gratitude!I am also quite pleased with the quality. Absolutely blown away by the perfection of this book. This gratitude is absolutely perfect. It is simple with 3 lines daily & inspirational quotes scattered throughout the journal. I love the color and the simplicity of it. Gratitude journals have changed my life in the past when I was going through a deep depression. It’s hard to have a bad day when you are writing how grateful you are for the smallest things.
